Small

Way too small, light did not work

very good little compass made by a top compass manufacturer.

I had this same compass for 35 years. The compass finally leaked its fluid. So, I replaced the old compass with this new one. I was very satisfied with the old compass with its accuracy and its compactness for my small aluminum boat. I have had the regular full size Ritchie compasses for my ocean going boats.

Pricey but Worth It

My wife's new/used Murano does not have a compass. We like having a compass. Our old Jeep had a compass. My VW Passat has a compass and so did my old Dodge Truck. I didn't want to get one of those pieces of junk from Wally World. Having owned boats in the past and being familiar with Ritchie nautical compasses, I decided to splurge on this. We are very happy with this. I am thinking of getting one for the VW, because the built-in, electronic compass seems to go whacky from time to time like when I'm headed SW and it says I'm headed NW.

Accurate

Accurate enough right out of the package.

It seems pretty well made.

It's an inexpensive compass and therefore fairly small. Even for my 17 footer. But it works, it's easy to mount, and comes with a tool for calibrating it, which, heck, is so involved that it hardly seems worth it. But if you're looking for a small, unobtrusive and inexpensive compass, this will do the trick.

Compact, yet easy to read.

This is a very functional compact and accurate unit.
