Very Nice Shrug

I love this shrug. It was the exact thing I needed to wear over a fancy dress while attending a wedding. I love the fact that there are two different ways to button it. One way is to button it in front. The other way is to button it under each arm so that you have "sleeves". Very nice!

Reinforce the button holes!

Even though one of the button holes broke the first night I wore it, I still love it. I can see it back on. It was perfect for a semi formal event. It was comfortable, covered everything I wanted and the sheer color was perfect!

There are many who say you need to read measurements exactly and I did and still it seemed smallish compared to size so not exactly true to size and I'm aware some of these items may be made where sizes run smaller but according to accurate measurements of myself and it, it should have been a great fit and yes I used proper units of measure. Otherwise love the functional style.

it is pretty and light

The fit was a little small and the make is slightly awkward with the way the arms are connected. However, it is pretty and light, perfect for summer and it actually worked out with the outfit and I will be wearing it again!

Very odd shrug

I'm going to give this 2 stars. One for on time delivery and one for fit. First thing you need to know is that the two small button attachments fall off immediately. If you sew, they are easily reattached. Second thing, it takes about 10 minutes to figure out how to wear this odd piece of polyester "chiffon". Look closely at the picture because it shows accurately how the shrug fits when the sleeves are attached. The material only closes as much as shown in the picture. This shrug should not cost more than $10 and it certainly doesn't look like I paid more. I would pass on this one.

Surprised and very pleased

I bought a sleeveless dress for my daughter’s wedding in the summer which was postponed to November, and needed something to cover my arms a bit. I actually didn’t hold out much hope for this but was extremely pleased when it arrived and worked perfectly, including the colour. When fastened it settles around the shoulders so your dress and neckline are still visible. I just had to steam some creases out of it, and I added a pretty brooch at the button hole to elevate it a bit. I used it as a capelet but did NOT use it as a shrug - not sure how well it would have worked that way and actually removed the extra fasteners before I wore it so I can’t speak to that. I do highly recommend this - for the price it’s definitely a great option.

The colour is darker then a burgundy but looks great with the fuscia dress I have.

I purchased as a cover up shrug for a dress and it looks great! Fits perfect too!!
