REFURHBISHED SHARK UPRIGHT. LOVE THIS BRAND
I have been in the cleaning business for 50 years. Residential and commercial . In my opinion SHARK has the best performance for the dollar on the market. Love the light weight easy to lug around. I prefer this old upright model and buy several a.year. I'm not fond of swivel heads thats why I buy the refurhbished older style that has a straight head. Just my opinion. JULIE BROUGHT THE MOP

Sharks never fail
My cousin works in cleaning and told me she’s never used a bad Shark. Since the Eureka vacuum I bought previously from Amazon started spitting dust out instead of sucking it up, I was happy to find that my Shark vacuum works like a dream. Just keep up with regular cleaning for the filters and brush roll (the owners manual will tell you how), and it should serve you well. I also love the various attachments for the vacuum hose.

Works well for small apartment
I have been pleased with this vacuum's effectiveness in a small apartment. I have used it for nearly 6 months and it has continued to perform well, covering two large wool area rugs and a smaller area of hardwood flooring once per week. The canister is easy to empty and we do find it pretty full after every use. The vacuum is lightweight which is generally a positive, however it tends to tip over when I use the hose attachment. Overall, I am very satisfied.

So this is a very small vacuum. The smallest shark I have ever purchased. I bought it for my grandfather. It's prefect for him because it is light weight, the suction is good by not so much that it pulls the vacuum. The dirt container is small. He doesn't have much area to cover so it's prefect for him. I used it first then let him use it. I think it's prefect for him. However, this vacuum would not work for my larger house that has a dog and kid. I have to vacuum frequently. I could see myself getting VERY annoyed because of the size of the dirt container and the amount of time it would take to cover a large area. I have purchased many sharks over the years and I recommend them to everyone.

Awkward hose
To be fair I've only used it twice since I got it last week, once on the carpets and once on the stairs. I haven't done the bare floors with it yet. I've had a Shark before and it was a great vacuum, so I thought I'd try this one. The suction is good, but the hose leaves something to be desired. It's not quite long enough and the curve where you hold it makes it awkward to use. Otherwise so far I'm pleased with the item, it serves its purpose, though I can't say I'd get this model again if I had a choice.

Great suction and mobility
Perfect for my small apartment which has mostly carpeting....but bath and kitchen tile. I'm 80 so the light weight and easy mobility are important to me. I would have given it 5 stars but the indicator light for the rug cleaner does not work...I'm sure not going to pack this up and ship it back for that little fault. The suction is tremendous for its size and it maneuvers around (and under) furniture. Nice long cord is especially appreciated. Great machine for the money.

Might vacuum daily with this!
Got rid of the BISSELL. This is perfect. My rooms actually smelled clean and fresh after vacuuming with this…. The carpets and rugs looked refreshed due to the suction power. It’s light enough to move around and stores perfectly in small spaces. Hardwoods… the pet hair was no match for this.

Lightweight
I had back surgery 9 years ago and the only vacuum I can use is the shark light weight, I have been able to keep my residential cleaning business. Without this vacuum I wouldn't be able to work in this field

Floor Unit suction terrible
The unit is light and when doing couch or other surfaces with the removable top vacuum, suction is excellent. When doing the floor there is very little suction and does not pick up anything heavier than cat hairballs unless i go over it numerous times and even then it sometimes doesn't pick up.
