Great machine - but I don't like the hose.

The suction power is remarkable for such a small vacuum, and it weighs next to nothing. I really don't care for the hose. First of all it's too short. I have a 4-foot wide work bench. Mounted the vacuum on one end of the bench and even with the crevice tool attached I can not reach the other end of the bench, so I have to take the machine off the bracket and hold it, which means I can't pick up tools and things with one hand and vacuum them with the other. Also the hose doesn't flex nicely. It's too stiff so it's difficult to maneuver around the stuff I'm trying to vacuum. I ordered a 10-foot extension hose (aftermarket brand) so my plan is to move the wall mount a little farther away from the bench and have plenty of hose to clean everything. Sadly, the extra hose cost me more than half the price of the machine. Overall I like it a lot and if you only plan to walk around vacuuming cob webs from the ceiling or baseboards it will do fine. But in my case with the bench I need a better/longer hose.

Not Limited Lifetime Warranty

I bought this to replace a 30 yr old 1 gal shop vac that abruptly died. I bought it partially as the description in two places said "limited lifetime warranty" When I received the vacuum, it says "3 year homeowner warranty". I feel conned. Also, I understand Amazon's dynamic pricing, but I paid 49.95 on Thursday, but the next day it was 44.95. I guess I should have waited an extra day to order it.

Unreal power, filter and bags eliminate dust. Only BUY SHOPVAC brand not cheap china knockoffs!

This tiny vacuum is crazy powerful, and keeps dust from going back thru the system. I have used it for brutal cleanups with dust cleaning out off road racing machines. After having I would pay another 30 percent more to unsure I get a shopVac brand. Amazon tries to block this vacuum on ads and promote terrible quality china made versions that are not even close in comparison. Don’t waste money on amazon recommendations . Buy shopVac and also it is much cheaper at your local A C E hardware places and includes more bags! Great product.

I have a love/hate relationship

I needed something small to have inside to shoot clean the carpet. This has great suction and hasn't been easy to tip over so far so it cleans great. The tank capacity for wet cleaning is much less than I figured, I imagined being able to almost fill the tank but no way! The hate part of the relationship is that if it gets too full, OR if everything isn't hooked up just right, including the house being connected a particular way, then it will spray the tank water out the back. The nasty, nasty tank water that just got sucked up then gets sprayed in a 3 foot radius behind you and makes a bigger mess too clean up. It's gross and it's not obvious when it's happening so you have to be diligent. I wish I'd gotten a bigger tank so it would be easier to avoid. But I love the convenience of this size to store and carry!
