Broke within two months!
This hand level broke within two months of owning it because the bulb came loose inside the level (we have previously used hand levels that lasted for years!). I contacted the wholesaler for this manufacturer to see if something could be done. The representative indicated they have had trouble with this model and recommended I purchase a different one. She said they could not offer anything else/stand behind the product due to their contract with Amazon (no returns after 30 days). Rip off.

Super-useful tool for grading and landscaping!
Well worth the money. Only drawback is that the magnification is not great. And that is not anything wrong with the instrument, just my expectations were out of whack a little bit, having been used to using a builders level at 5 times the price. If you were planning upon reading markings on a rule from any distance just make sure that the graduations and numbers on your rule are BIG. But I did a large landscaping project with multiple slightly sloped terraces with a lot of tricky drainage patterns that had to be pretty darn accurate to flow correctly and did it all with this device. Neighbors thought I was nuts.........until I was finished.

Pretty good little unit it is built like a tank The first one was broken upon recipe but amazon made it right in no time flat. I think the price I s a bit high for what your getting but I needed it for a project so I sucked it up I may look around for different options if I need to replace it

Not nearly as accurate as a transit but gets you in the ballpark nice and compact. Worth the money

Indispensable levelling tool; useful for all sorts of building projects
Bought as a Christmas present for my dad last year, on the advice of a website that gave me lists of "Items for Handy Dads". Successful beyond anything I dared hope for - my dad used it to build a substantial bridge over the creek in the family farm, levelling steel beams, rebar, and several 500lb cement support shafts with its help. (See pictures of bridge currently in process!) 10/10, highly recommended for your handy dad. Professional grade tool, extremely useful.

Well that's embarrassing
The most important part,the Bubble level, has no liquid in it and therefore no bubble. This item is unusable in the state it arrived in. Replacement ordered, fingers crossed.
