I wish they were a little more sturdy
These would have been perfect if they didn’t bend over at the top when you stand them upright.

this is a great way to save and store things you are interested ...
Clever design with the side flap to lock in contents. I just replaced the contents of several manilla folders that you put in Pendaflex folders with these. They are generously cut and are slightly bigger than the standard 8 1/2 x ll size of paper.. I ordered one set to try out and just ordered two more. I use mine for research projects, news items I want to keep temporarily and other stuff. Some material will eventually be moved over to my permanent library of binders, but on a day-to-day basis, this is a great way to save and store things you are interested in. One reviewer asked if you could three-hole punch and you could, but the best way would be to have the bottom of the folder line up with the bottom of the sheets in a binder and let the top of the folder stick out. They are really meant for desk, briefcase, and travel use. I find the lock secure and with the extra height, I can't imagine losing things in these if you were to travel with them.

Simplifies Office Paperwork
Overall: This 5 pack has helped simplify my office paperwork. It especially helps to organize loose papers by projects / topics, or by day of the week. I use mine with a Rolodex Butterfly Sorter (also purchased on Amazon). Pros: + Affordable price at less than one dollar per poly jacket + Durable, compared to other poly/plastic jackets and file folders + Tab to keep the jacket closed + Slim (easy to take along and put into a briefcase; also listed as a con) Cons: - Slim (might not hold enough paper for you) Keep in mind that these are relatively slim. I only put 5-30 pages in each, at max. If you need more pages, you might want to look at expandable poly jackets. For my needs, they are perfect. They are handy for trips! I put in extra printouts of my airline tickets, itinerary, hotel reservation, car reservation, cruise itinerary, and cruise events. In total, about 20-30 pages, and the poly jacket held up completely fine. No wear and tear at all.

Very Nice File Jackets
I love these file jackets. I was introduced to this type of file folder/jacket where I work. I use these jackets in two ways. I work for a large automobile assembly plan and frequently have to carry documents around for signatures. These hold the documents in place better than regular manila folders and they are easier to get the documents in and out of than something like a folder with a flap. My next use is to use the different colored folders to differentiate between tasks. This is for documents that I am using a lot and don't want to pull in and out of a file drawer. Plus I can throw these in my computer bag and they protect the documents well without adding a lot of bulk. I liked these folders enough to buy several packs for a personal project I have been working on. These really helped with organization.

Looks good for protection
I'd have to update this after significant use, but these are exactly the kind of protectors I was looking for. I have some original documents I need to carry around for legal reasons but keep safe for years (not easy to replace), and I wanted something for this purpose. These sleeves are soft enough that a little bending won't cause them to break, but rigid enough that a single piece of paper inside doesn't look like it should get horribly wrinkled/etd. I've seen plastic that meets both of those descriptions. They aren't labeled as such but they have the look/feel of polyethylene - a cloudy translucent plastic that tends to be pretty durable and pliable. Think of a squeezable water bottle consistency as opposed to something like a gallon of milk (the former returns to original shape, the latter crinkles). If you need something crystal clear than this isn't what you want, but the kinds of plastics that are more clear also tend to be a bit more prone to cracking/etc especially if it gets cold.

Pretty Pastel Color Poly Files
I really like my Poly File Jacket. I like the colors a lot, but if you really need to see in the jacket, choose the clear. They are all nice, really sturdy and a good price, but my project was buyer information storage for essential oils, so it might have been nice for myself to go with clear. I do enjoy colors, so colors are fun, but functionality wise go with clear.

Could be much Better
The quality of the plastic is relatively cheap and not as sturdy as I was hoping for. Previously I've used jackets from Martha Stewart and the Container Store and their quality was excellent, however, I was not able to get those brands. I use the jackets for various research projects or to keep travel papers in order on trips. These are not going to hold the amount of paper nor hold up to putting in & taking out papers on a repetitive basis.. They might be okay to retain an important piece or several pieces of paper, however, I am not even sure if they are acid free.
