Easy to use
The product works very well, but it could be a bit sturdier. When using it on gravel you need to be careful not to dig in to the ground as it will bend the frame.

Great Concept, Execution is a bit Meh
Updated 07212016: After speaking with Solvit I discovered why one of the issues exists - the one with the brake. When some idiot assembled the cart originally, they put the wheel brackets on upside down. So while our cart has amazing clearance and sits up very high, the brake can't reach the wheel. They also gave some instructions to work on getting the wobble out of the front wheel and admitted this was a known problem they were having with the manufacturing. So for their assistance with the one issue and the actual non-issue of the brake, I gave them 1 additional star. *** ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW *** We ordered this pet stroller conversion to add onto our HoundAbout Large Pet Trailer and while the general function of the product is okay it has two major issues that we will have to address with Solvit. 1) The brake when mounted into the mounting holes DOES NOT REACH THE WHEELS! It would appear that they made some adjustments to the product (possibly smaller wheels?) but didn't make any modifications to the brake assembly. Some users have indicated they drilled holes to make the brake fit, but when buying a new product it doesn't seem reasonable to expect the consumer to have to modify it in order to use it as it is designed to be used. 2) The front wheel has too much play inside the mounting bracket so it develops a severe shimmy when pushing the carrier. We do see that there are adjustments that can be made to address this but it again seems that the product should work 'out of the box' without having to make serious adjustments to it. We enjoy the trailer to tow behind our bikes but it seems the stroller add on was not properly thought out or designed.

Quality Product but Frustrating Assembly, Issue with Front Wheel Wiggling
I bought the Solvit Houndabout II specifically to pair with this Stroller Conversion kit and avoid paying the cost of a Burley (which seems to be about the market leader for a quality wagon). We bought it to use for our dog who required ACL surgery and would not be able to go on her usual walks. I have been very pleased with the wagon overall when towing behind a bike, but my experience with this Stroller Conversion Kit has been mixed. DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY: I assembled the kit, and did not find it particularly easy to assemble; it probably took me around an hour. The box containing the conversion kit was intact, but the contents of the box were a mess; my instructions were torn in half and crumpled making them difficult to use, my bag full of screws and other small items was torn open and the items were free-floating in the box, and the screw for the brake was simply not included in the box (there was no break on the exterior box seal for it to escape, it just wasn't in the box). FRONT WHEEL ISSUE/CUSTOMER SERVICE: Once the conversion kit was assembled I took it out for a walk with my dog. Anytime I got above a slow walk, had to round a corner, or went over a bump the front wheel would wiggle violently causing the trailer to jerk. The instructions actually specifically address this issue and say something like: If you have issues with the front wheel wobbling in use, please call customer service for assistance. I did exactly this and tried calling: Customer Service is only available during business hours. So now I needed to be at home in front of the wagon during business hours to get assistance. 2 months went by until there was a day when these conditions alined. I called and waited 20-some minutes on hold only for the background music to all of the sudden quit playing. Was I still on hold? Did their business hours just end and I was dropped? I hang up and call back to see if I get the after hour message and did not. I waited another 20 minutes until I got through to a person. The very kind customer service associate had absolutely no clue what I was talking about. I was confused because the instructions specifically reference this, so it must be a common issue. She said it wasn't in her instructions. I told her where to look in the instructions for where we get referred to their customer service. Then she apologizes and says they have different instructions (?????). She went and asked her boss what to do, he said to check where the gooseneck is attached to the trailer and the front wheel in it's mount to make sure both were tight. I kindly pointed out neither of these issues seemed to relate to the wiggling I was experiencing (they don't). I was expecting to get instructions on removing the little black plastic cap and tightening something in this fixture where the front wheel is mounted. She says she has no idea how to instruct me in regard to this. I thanked her for her time, hung up, and removed the little black cap and tightened the nut. It now works with nearly no issue, so I think it will just require another slight adjustment. To summarize, I had to go through a difficult process to get through to customer service at all, per the instructions, and then they didn't even know how to help me. I could have saved 2 hours of my life and just done it myself. Why in the world are these instructions not in the manual? Please reference the questions for this product. A kind person has shared the actual correcting instructions they received from the company. In summary, I'm happy with the quality of the wagon, but found the conversion kit very frustrating at its price point. I expected better delivery condition, all parts to be present, and instructions in the manual to correct this unfortunately common issue.

Wobbly wheel
The front wheel is really wobbly like the wonky wheel on a grocery store cart. I find this happens when my dog doesn't have hours weight distributed evenly. It typically happens when his weight (86 pound German Shepherd) is mostly towards the rear of the stroller. The handlebar is slightly too low. On the other hand, he absolutely loves this conversion. He's able to go on walks with his other doggy friends now. I always take it with us so that when his back legs are starting to give out, he can just get in there and ride the rest of the way. Highly recommend getting this, or a comparable version, for your disabled/senior dog.
