Too dense no good airflow

This filter is not made for the Porter Cable 4 Gallon Wet/Dry Vac I own (although it says it works). The vac works good with original filter but these are too dense and do not allow for good airflow cutting down on the suction. They might be really good for a much larger Vac but not for the small vac I own.

Much lower price from any other local store.

Found it necessary to replace filter like "now" as I was in the middle of a chore, went to a couple of local stores and did not like the price. Checked on Amazon and WOW big difference in price, so big it was worth putting my chore on hold and wait the few days for item to arrive.

Works great had to use a rubber band to make it stay but that's only because I'm an idiot and they're not made for my style vacuum.

Fair deal.

The price for these can fluctuate quite significantly, so sometimes you have to wait until the the price is right to buy them at a more affordable rate. Otherwise these bags last me a long time. I have probably reused my original bag 50+ times until it developed a tear. A 3 pack makes it even a better deal. My only wish is that the Stanley vacuum cleaner was better quality, but that is another story.

Fit Shop Vac 4.5 Gal. vacuum perfectly

My vacuum still had the original filter, after 20 years. And it smelled like it had been in the vacuum for 20 years. The Stanley 25-1217 filters fit perfectly (actually better than the original). They are designed to fit over the foam filter. The original was a flat filter that wrapped around with creases in the paper. Making it difficult to clean. These filters are designed to slide over the foam filter so cleaning them for re-use will be a breeze.

Comparison and performance of filter show precision in appearance, size, and performance.

All three filters were consistent in appearance with no tears or rips. All fix on vacuum like the filter which came with it. Each filter's performance about the same when tested to clean floor of sawdust. Equally easy to install and remove from vacuum. Able to clean filters of dust thoroughly.

Although I have not used them as yet I plan to in the near future and wanted to have some on hand. The one I have in my vacuum has held up well and I expect these will as well.
