Works well
Mostly like this detox scrub. It has a paste-like texture, foams and washes off well. Has a very strong minty scent. I like how my hair feels after I use this scrub. Packaging is a little sketch - no protective film anywhere, and no direction on how to best use. So make sure to watch the video posted on Amazon.

Cleans well, no idea of detox properties
I never quite know what to make of claims of detoxification since those are generally not backed by independent evidence or actual citations. For this product, if the claim of detox is about being an effective grime remover for hair and scalp, maybe there's some level of justification. It does clean nicely with a rich foaming lather. I got more from the foaming action than from any exfoliation since my hair gets in the way of the exfoliator reaching my scalp. Liked the tea tree scent and tingle. The product is pretty concentrated so that there does not seem to be a lot of water added to bulk it up. I think I'll get maybe 8 to10 uses from this jar.

A Good Deep Cleansing Agent
I'm really happy with this detoxing salt scrub. For most of my life, I've battled with an oily scalp that very quickly required me to constantly have to cleanse my long, thin hair. While helpful, it was sometimes a bit damaging to my hair. Now that I'm older, my scalp is much drier, hair a little shorter, and I'm having to deal with an itchy scalp. At least it doesn't need that daily washing anymore, but I still end up with product build up if I'm not careful. Then there's trying to balance any sort of conditioning which the length of my hair needs, and now so does my scalp. Again, if I go overboard, which is easy to do, then I end up with heavy, limp hair that looks dirty even when its clean. This is a very good product for my needs. It cuts away all of that product build up and those excess oils. Yet it does so without drying out my scalp or hair. Helps with preventing an itchy scalp, as well as any product buildup. Makes my scalp feel better and leaves my hair cleaner and more manageable. Afterwards, my hair is extra clean and silky smooth. A great way to prepare your hair and scalp for your favorite selections of shampoos and conditioners. Seems as though it would be good for all hair types. I appreciate that the tea tree oil is only mildly noticeable because I cannot stand the smell of tea tree oil. When it's mild, as this is, I'm totally fine with it knowing that it's very good for several issues concerning the body. There's a bit of a minted scent rather than a heavy tree oil smell. It actually smells really good. Should be especially good for those with various scalp conditions such as dandruff or other problems. I don't know because they are not things I have to deal with, but it seems as though it would be almost medicinal in some cases without feeling and smelling so. When I use this, I like to let it sit on my head for several minutes before rinsing just for any extra benefits that I might get by letting it penetrate into my scalp. Works very well for my needs. Great for all hair types and is very good for both men and women alike.

Could use some instructions
The first time I used this I don't think I used it right as it just was me smearing it over the top of my hair mostly. But the last time I mashed it into my scalp close to the roots. I still don't know how much I'm supposed to use but I did get some good foaming in the area where I used more. But at that rate I'd go through this pretty fast. So I will probably use this once a week for scalp health. It has an herbal smell that doesn't stick around when you hair dries. I haven't had any irritation and it hasn't made my hair look bad.

Left my hair soft and shiny
I wasn't sure what to do with this Tea Tree Special Detox Foaming Salt Scrub at first. There were no instructions on how you should use it and I've never used a product like this before. I decided to just wing it. I wet my hair then took a little and applied. It lathered instantly and I could feel a mild exfoliation to my scalp. I then went ahead and rinsed it out and that was it. I didn't shampoo or use conditioner. It was also my "no product" day, which I do at least once a week. I give my hair a rest day. No product, heat or styling aides. I wrapped it in a towel and then after a few minutes, shook it out, brushed it and let it air dry. I have an itchy scalp and this really seemed to help with that. It felt fresh and clean. Plus, as a bonus, it left my hair shiny and so very soft! So much so that days after, even after using shampoo, conditioner and other products, my hair still felt like velvet. I'm not sure how often you are supposed to use this, as again, there were no instructions, but I've decided that I will be using once a week. I will apply on my no product days as that seems to work really well for me. Since you don't need much and I will be using only once a week, that makes the current listing price of $27.95 affordable and worth it because one jar will last quite a while. I've already added it to my personal care wish list for future purchase.

Smells so good!
This stuff lathers really well and according to the directions you can even use it as your shampoo. It smells great and has some scrub like qualities to it so it’s good for exfoliating. Has a fresh eucalyptus scent to it

Strips hair cleanly
This is a nice scrub. It smells good, the tea tree is refreshing. I have shoulder length hair and didn't need much, just a small two-finger scoop. It lathers quickly and voluminously, and it felt good to work it into my scalp and through my hair. I don't understand or believe it "detox" unless it's figurative language to describe how it exfoliates and cleans. Because it cleans really well; it got rid of all the product I put in and natural buildup as well. You don't and shouldn't use this daily to give your hair a rest. Once rinsed and dried, it leaves hair soft with a bit of shine. But if you have dry hair, conditioner will help, or perhaps a hair mask.
