This fixes hissing running toto toilets

Easier and cheaper to replace this 1 part than the whole floater valve assembly. If your toto toilet is hissing this is the part to replace. Istructional vids on youtube are great.

Worked liked a charm

The replacement cap is a lot easier to replace than the entire fill valve. Our Toto is full skirted toilet and you have to remove the tank to replace the fill valve. The problem is usually just the gasket in the cap that has broken down over time and not the entire valve. A much easier fix. None of my Toto install instructions tell you that you can just replace the cap. Had to rely on a YouTube video to how to fix the valve.

Check Fill Port

The part, although priced too high compared to Home Depot or Ace, works fine, HOWEVER, the fill port is too small. The part being replaced had a 13/64 opening, and this was much smaller. I had to drill the port to the correct size to get the bowl to fill completely. It's not a big effort, but go slow and stay to 1/64 at a time.

Problem solved

The valves on 2 of my toilets were worn out causing severe resonance in the pipes when the valve was struggling to shut off the water flow. The new valves shut off smoothly. Installation is a breeze once you know how to do it!

Just worked. Easy. Done. Not more trickle.

Not much to say. It took 30 seconds and solved the leak. Will buy it when the next over priced toilet starts wasting water.... Now, how to fix the slow close lid that won't stay up anymore ...grrr
