Works, smaller than expected, rotates too much...

I'm using this press for making apple and pear ciders before fermentation into hard versions of each. It is working just fine for that assuming you have a really good scratter to make 1/4" pulp to feed it, and secure it to a base WELL. It's easy to clean, so overall good. Except... - pretty stiff when mine 1st arrived. I fixed that with a good loading of food grade grease up the screwshaft, which I do NOT clean off every time. - annoying! Nothing "keys" the outer pot to the frame except the outflow spout. As a result, you have to pre-rotate the pot against the support or the spout will twist away from your catch vessel. Could fix with a longer tube and let it whack around, but I just put a bump-screw into my base and place the pot between that and frame, where it cant rotate out of position. - small. The size given is the outer pot, not the MUCH smaller inner pot you place fruit into. So, assume this 1.3 gallon pot can only press 1/2 gallon of fruit at a time, yielding a quart of cider. MANY cycles when my old wood press took a 5 gallon bucket (but, this stores easier!). I'd get a bigger one if I bought again, but I do a dozen gallons a year.

6L model holds exactly 4L

This product seems well built, and all parts actuate properly, so I’ve given it 3 stars. However, the outer bowl of the 6L model only holds 4L at complete max-fill. Nevermind any material you might have in the inner bowl. The only way you’ll get 6L into this thing is if you also bought a steel stretcher.

Works great! I love it's easy to keep clean since it's all stainless!

This press works really well. So far i've pressed honeycomb(I'm a beekeeper), apples, and made some mushroom tinctures with it. The stainless really makes it easy to clean. I also like the spout as opposed to an open mouth, this lets me attach a tube to it and get the juice/honey exactly where I want it instead of it freefalling into a jar.

PLEASE READ!

We like to use this for pressing fruit, olives And Lupia feeling. It works best and small squeezes instead of using the entire container to presquise. For the price it definitely gets the job done quicker than handpressing. I'm even thinking about using it in large batches to cold press coffee.... Coffee taste different when cold pressed....We'll see how that goes.

Seals not installed properly

The media could not be loaded. This is a terrible product. Please do not buy it. The rubber gaskets were not seated properly when I first received the item I placed them back inside and they came off the press leaked almost immediately. I try to seal it with clear, sealant, food grade that did not work at all. The press when you’re squeezing will not stay centered you have to hold it it’s awkward and yes, I have it screwed to a wooden bench. The company does not sell. Just the pots sell says they do not sell items separately. I would not bother with this company for this particular product very poor Amazon should drop this one press from their list

Don’t squeezed the pulp / the Mesh dies the job instead

All the pulp ride over the squeezer a lot of effort and frustration end up using the mesh only the equipment not viable only in theory like the press is missing

NON per OLIVE

Ho acquistato il torchio per spremere le olive. Non e' assolutamente adatto. Eravamo in due a cercare di tenere fermo il torchio mentre si girava la manovella per spremere le olive. Dopo tanta fatica e sudore, siamo riusciti a schiacciare leggermente le olive, e' troppo difficile e anche con le forze di Sansone, non si riesce. La spremitura di un secchio di olive ha prodotto una goccia di olio. Assolutamente da non usare per le olive.

Solide mais en point en suspens ?

Bonjour, le produit en question est un peu cher mais est d'un certain niveau. En effet les flasques en matière fondue sont solide, ainsi que les tiges et la boulonnerie. Également les deux récipients en Inox épais et le disque de pression en Inox épais et soudé sur une bague. Par contre, j’émets une réserve sur la tige de pression, en effet elle possède un filetage qui traverse le flasque supérieur et possède des caractéristiques particulières (ce n’est pas un filetage classique métrique) et ce qui m'inquiète un peu c'est le jeu entre ces deux pièces. J'ai utilisé le produit déjà trois fois et j'observe un jeu important entre la tige filetée et le flasque supérieur. A mon avis il y a déjà une question à lever c'est que les matériaux ne sont pas de même nature et comme je ne vois pas de bague spécifique sur le flasque, l'avenir du produit est en question. Est-ce quelque a une idée plus précise sur cette question (le constructeur, etc.). Merci. Cdt.
