Decent fan for the price

I ordered this fan to have for my home gym. I like the white color, and the noise level is good. I wouldn't call it quiet, but it doesn't compete too badly with music or conversation in the room. NOTE: my fan arrived with a broken remote control, which is one of the selling features. I contacted Amazon twice, and had to write three emails to the support contact on Vie Air's site in addition to calling and leaving a VM twice to get another remote sent. They did eventually send and the remote works. Mounting: I had to have handyman help mount it on the wall but if you are handy, could probably figure out. All in all, am happy with the fan and the replacement remote.

Great Wall Mounted Fan

We really like this fan, installation is easy, decent air flow, has nice aesthetics so it looks ok even in the living room where we like to push the warm air from the fireplace around. Happy with my purchase and will probably get another for my office. It is a plastic fan so don't expect super powered air flow, but I am still impressed with the air flow, just keep your blades clean.

Overall a great buy!

The media could not be loaded. Everything is great, it moves plenty of air, it’s fairly compact, the remote is convenient, and it has several different settings for breeze, swivel, etc.. my only gripe is the amount of noise it produces.. Also it does come with a screen, I just took mine off because I liked how it looked without it, and I didn’t need it due to placement.

Great value for money.

Great value for money! This fan produces clean, cool air! Love the convenience of having a remote, since I mounted far from the bed. Love the modes that it features. Hopefully the fan holds up overtime and doesn’t start to degenerate and end up making noise as I sleep. The only downside is how short the cord is.

Great fan

I bought this fan to replace the one I had in my shed that quit working. The remote is set up better than the last one. What they don’t tell you in the description is how long the power cord is, which I wasn’t concerned with because mine is mounted directly above the outlet. Without unwrapping it for an exact measurement, I would say the cord is no longer than 3 feet. I have posted a picture showing that I only had to wrap the cord a couple of times to take up the slack.

Ok... with modifications

I had to make some modifications to get good performance from it. The fan blade design is not good. The plastic the fan blades are made out of is very soft/flexible and as a result they didn’t do a good job of actually blowing air. I swapped the fan blades with another fan I wasn’t using that I had with the same shaft design and it now moves much more air. I also ended up adding some shelf liner in key places to stop a vibration/rattle that the fan had that was quite loud. I considered giving it less than 3 stars but the fan does work. The remote is good and easy to use. Installation was easy. The only real problem is it just didn’t move air as well as my other fan. If you don’t need a lot of air movement, this fan will probably work for you without modification. It didn’t work for my in my home gym without being modified.

If the remote doesnt work pull the spring out a little on the + end of the battery

This is the 2nd fan we bought. We thought the remote went out on the 1st one but when the 2nd one arrived the remote wouldn't work either. What I realized is that the little spring that makes contact with the batteries didn't reach on the + end so I used a pair of tweezers and pulled it out just a little, now we have 2 fans so I put one in my moms room and she loves it. The remote is so convenient.

Well with the money in a kids room.

We replaced our kids ceiling fan with this since we installed a bunk bed for a number of reasons. One being that we didn’t want them getting a new haircut when coming down in the middle of the night and the other being that we can push air from the side to the bunk below. It is noisy, but in a good way. It’s almost like a sound machine. The oscillating works great as well.
