Buy it!

I bought this to replace our original (more expensive) monitor that broke after just a year and a half. That monitor was trash compared to this one, I had no idea what I was missing out on! The picture quality is AMAZING, sound quality is great, truly have no complaints with the functionality of this monitor. The ONLY complaint I have as it does take an annoyingly long time to turn on. The app on the phone is a lot quicker to display the picture than the unit itself and we primarily use our phones as the monitor so it’s not a huge deal for us.

Excellent purchase

I had to replace another monitor. I did a lot of research and am so very glad I purchased this item. I've only used it a 4 days but it is working great. The options including the sounds and lullabies, the video and audio are all working very well. I purchased the attachment to hang the video camera from the curtain rod. It isn't too heavy for that. The camera adjusts well both from the APP and the monitor. It zooms in well also. Volume adjusts easily too. It senses movement and sound and sends an alert. I like both the parent monitor and the APP. It was very easy to set up on both my phone and my husbands. Great purchase and price/value. My only complain is that the video doesn't stay on all the time but I may just need to made an adjustment in the settings. Most people may not care if the monitor is on all the time. I just like to glance over during naptime and see if the baby has moved etc. I haven't really done much with the battery life on the parent monitor yet so not really an opinion on that yet as I've only used it a couple of days. But still 5 stars!

Very happy with this

I have used this for over a year and I’m really happy with it. No connectivity issues and easy to set up. Able to use the video monitor it comes with, and also use the app on my phone to check in when I’m at work. We have multiple family members that use the app so they can check in when they’d like as well. I like that I can use the app to take pictures/video as well, baby snoring is adorable and worth remembering!

Dual monitoring

Very happy with the ability to monitor the camera via the included screen as well as from the app on my phone. Makes being away from the little ones easier. Overall great camera especially for the price. Does everything you need it to. I recommend. Gave it 4 stars because sometime the screen has a hard time connecting with the camera, I could be standing right next to it and it still will need more than one attempt. Easy fix however, simply reboot.

Good Monitor for a price

I was a little sceptical buying a camera with monitor and wifi, I thought it’s usually either or,but this camera is pretty nice for a price and good picture quality & rotation view.I usually use it for day time to watch my baby while I am in another room,so for day camera is recommended, and I use ir without cry detection.I used cry detection feature a few times and it beeps about 3 seconds(I could probably see different setting), but we have second camera different brand that is used on baby’s crib at night, which beeps for 10 seconds minimum and pretty sensitive,so I like other camera better for cry detection at night.I love wifi feature and app Is pretty easy, you can also rotate the camera at app, which is cool.What I don’t like that is takes some time to turn on/off and when it looses signal,it starts beeping.

someone bought this off my registry and I have loved it. the picture quality is amazing. it also has a white noise machine built in which is great. i also love that you can connect it to an app on your phone. I will definitely recommend this monitors to other mom

Decent but connectivity unreliable

Overall this is a decent unit and it works better than the Nanit did for me, but I still would not feel comfortable with it as my only monitor due to the connectivity issues I've experienced. The parent unit is supposed to switch automatically between wifi and direct connections to the camera. This is great in theory, but in reality it takes at least 10 minutes for it to make that switch, during which you have zero monitoring of your baby. It frequently loses connection on wifi or breifly buffers, but the more disappointing connection is the direct communication. My bedroom shares a wall with the nursery, but sometimes it still can't connect. See picture of me standing in the doorway of the nursery with the camera circled in the background and the parent unit saying it's unable to connect. I don't need a monitor if I have to stand by the crib to connect! All that being said, when the unit is actually connected, it's a decent monitor with good picture and handy pan, tilt, and zoom controls. The talk function also works well and voices come through clearly. And I like having both a parent unit and the smart/app connectivity. I just wish it had more reliable connections, especially on the direct communication mode!

Great monitor for the elderly

This is working great to monitor my mother at night. Took me a bit to get it linked to my phone but I got it. I feel much better about leaving her alone a few hours because I can check the monitor and make sure all is ok.

Nos gustó mucho y le hemos dado muchísimo uso , es muy fácil de utilizar , y sirve perfecto si tengo que salir y ver a mi bebé por el teléfono, lo único que no nos gustó es que el monitor se le acaba la pila muy pronto , casi siempre tiene que estar conectado , pero además de ese detalle lo recomiendo ampliamente ya que todo la imagen la da a tiempo , el sonido está perfecto y las señales que te da tmb funcionan bien .

Cumple con todo lo que dice.. batería muy mala

La batería después del 3 mes ya funciona la mitad del tiempo por eso las 3 estrellas, cumple con todo lo demás, con todo lo que dice, y no es que dure poco pero al principio podía durar todo el día sin cargar y ahora ya solo medio día o menos.
