Probably better for outdoor range

Easy enough to setup and fairly comfortable, decent hear protection although not good enough for indoor range shooting as the noise cancellation isn't quite what it's claimed to be. Outdoors should be fine, but after 2-3 uses indoor, went back to traditional earmuffs. I would question the 29dB noise cancellation claim as it pales in comparison of the 23dB stated on the traditional earmuffs... The microphone works well enough, although with a slight but noticeable amount of static. Kind of puzzled as to why there is no indication that the unit is ON, i.e. the LED is only turning on when on USB to indicate charging... A good backup pair, definitely not 29dB noise reduction, but at $45 is a good deal. Would not buy at full $90 price.

good active supressors

good product, works well ....if I have to change something, that will be add a auto off feature....because sometimes I forgot to turn the switch off and the next time that I arrive to the shooting range I notice that the battery is totally dead, the good news is that with a 10 min charge, the thing works for about 30min or so...and if the battery dead again you can continue shooting without the active amplification.... I alway have a cellphone battery backup charger in my range bag (for my phone, my timer (that is rechargeable), and for this earbuds) so this way I can recharge them any moment.... but if they have the auto shut off feature, that make this earbuds even better

Got them for $59. Great price. Works well at the target range. I'll be interested to see how they perform at the duck blind.

I love these Plugs!

I have the Walker Razors which work great both indoor and out door scenarios. Problem with the cans is that it just does not give me the cheek rest comfort when shooting my scoped rifles. These Walker plugs do a tremendous job with ear protection whether shooting my hand cannons indoor or my hi-power rifles in the field. Highly recommend these buds!

pretty good lack of bang for your buck

I saw some reviews that panned these for not cutting out the sound. Thought I'd give them a try anyway. Put them on, a little difficult and not quite the comfort I'm used to, and turned the volume up like 3 or 4. Was pretty good. I fired a few shots and heard everything so was thinking the same as the other reviews BUT, I wanted to put to true test. I pulled one ear out and fired same gun and my ear was ringing pretty badly. It absolutely does cut the sharp loud noise, was impressed. I am used to 33 db soft ear plugs, very comfortable but absolute noise stifling. These I could hear normal everything plus amplified (but I seriously doubt you could hear a deer from a mile away) But kept the bang out. I used .32, 9mm. .45LC/410ga and smg. All but the last are single shot or semi so I could see doing a bang at a time but the last was smg so a long constant bang of about 11 seconds straight. Good job. Only drawback was the comfort/positioning. Highly recommend.

Meh

Sound quality is somewhat distorted and disappointing. Not clear at all. Fit and finish is nice. I use it mainly for competition shooting, competition safety officer and trainer. Will likely update this kit to something else

Work pretty well

These work pretty well. However I do find the full earmuffs better. These are smaller though for times when I cannot wear the full earmuffs. I like these for goose hunting

for the money i would say these are a NO BRAINER

i haven't used them myself yet, but i got them and gave them to my dad whom needed a new pair cause the around the neck walker's he had broke. he used them while he was reffing a skeet shooting event, and he said these were so good he thought the gun's were misfiring at first!!! i am probably going to buy another pair for myself once i run out of batteries for my walker's razor silencer's

Lots of feedback/wind noise, low quality

The foam pieces were too hard and were uncomfortable. I was hoping it would have directional hearing but it doesn’t. An insane amount of wind noise even with low winds. They did cut out shot noise really well though. Would recommend the Walker Electronic Ear Muffs. But would not recommend this product
