DO NOT BUY

DO NOT BUY from this vendor. They sell a defective product. This tip only lasted for under 1 hour of use then it failed. Had to pay return postage for a product they sold that failed.

didn't last more than a couple weeks

I bought Weller's premium cordless soldering iron, thinking if I spent almost $100 I would get a quality tool that would perform well and LAST. I am no soldering guy, I do once in a while, so the unit isn't being treated harshly. My first tip failed after a pretty good while, this replacement lasted a couple weeks? As I said, I thought if I spent $100 on a Weller I wouldn't babe writing a review like this. I don't think I will ever buy another Weller product, I'm disappointed and mad as well.
