Very versatile

It's pricey for the light output, you can buy flashlights or lanterns that are brighter for less money, but not something which does it all. And that's not to say it's not bright, it provides more than enough light! Pros: Plenty bright, flashlight/lantern/desk lamp cover all my needs, can turn off my holding the switch down without having to cycle through all modes, I have other worx batteries so should have plenty of battery life during a power outage. Cons: The shape and extension system are a bit awkward compared to dedicated devices (but still perfectly useable). My biggest complaint is desk lamp mode, while only the front half of the tube is lit, the light still leaks out the back of the translucent tube causing your eyes to contract a bit and not see as well.

Awesome, Versatile Flashlight

WORX has me in their ecosystem. So when I saw this flashlight, I was eager to get another battery and a flashlight/task light to go with it. The light is bright, which is great. Having a rechargeable battery that lasts a long time and can be used with this light or my leaf blower or hedge trimmers is wonderful. I love the multi-function nature of this light and it works as described. The only downside (and the reason why I took one star off my rating) is that the power switch has to be pressed multiple times to get to the function you want or to turn it off. Power cycling and function selection are all rolled into a single switch. Bad move WORX! Separate switches or one on/off switch plus a function selection switch or dial at this price point would be the right way to go. Ultimately, I am happy with the purchase.

Worx Flexibility

This worx light was purchased for additional lighting for overnight our master cooks. Incredible amount of light and works as flashlight, lantern and emergency beacon.

Excellent multi-function flashlight

This is a very useful and well built multi-function LED flashlight that provides the following functions: 1) Flashlight 2) Lantern 3) Desk lamp Hi 4) Desk lamp Low 5) SOS You switch from one function to another by pressing the function button. When off the 1st press turns on the flashlight, the next press switches to the lantern and so on. When in lantern mode you pull the light stick partially out of the handle, about half way but you can control the amount of light by pulling the light stick out or push it in. When in desk lamp mode you pull the light stick out all the way and it can be pivoted to direct the light. For SOS mode you return the light stick to the lantern position. This device uses the WORX Power Share batteries so I can use it with the batteries I already have. This light is a great choice for emergencies, camping, etc. Anywhere were power may no be readily available, assuming you already have a charged battery.

NOT 2.0mAh battery

I like many-in-1 light, which provides more funtions. There are 2 points that I can't give 5 stars. It was my bad that I didn't check its detail. I read the photo which is a 2.0Ah battery (it mislead peoples). However, it comes with a cheaper 1.5Ah which doesn't has battery level indicator (I have other WORX tools with 2.0Ah and 4.0mAh which all have indicator for know its status). I checked the box and user manual which printed 1.5Ah so it is just my mistake. Well, compare the price of full set and tool only which are $25x and $10x. There is only $100 for a seperate 2.0Ah battery+charger. Who will buy the full set? Luckily that I bought it in 2 weeks ago at crazy price which was $109. Please be aware that this light is NOT water proof. How come? We buy it for handy works, for camping, for BBQ, etc.. Paid $100 (tool only) which doesn't has All Weather designed. There are many other brand can be dropped into water which are simular prices. If I don't have couple of WORX tools, I won't consider it.

Bright but awkward

I'm ahuge Worx fan, but this thing is pretty weird. It has way too many settings, only 2 or 3 of which are actually practical. It even has an SOS mode that you have to cycle past every time you want to turn the flashlight off. You can alternatively hold down the power button to turn it off, but it's an inconvenience other flashlights won't give you. They've also completely neglected to make this thing ergonomical at all. It feels very cumbersome and awkward in the hand. That said it is very bright and stands up on its own well. It is very handy, just coukd have been executed better.

Never buy from WORX!

When I received the light , I opened the box to find my light covered in scratches and dust! Like a floor model repackaged! I will never buy a WORX product again and because of this never purchasing from Amazon again! Very disappointed
