Great light duty impact wrench!!

I needed a small, light duty impact for some projects I have in my garage and just to carry in my toolbox with me when I head somewhere that I won't have power. This little wrench does great and is a lot more capable than I had thought it would be when I read the power ratings. It more than took care of the jobs I had for it (mostly a few 1/2 sockets for bolts on some decking and ledger board), and the battery lasted me through the entire job. Great deal, great tool, and something I may pick up for my son as well. Handy to keep in a toolbox when I hit the road; I've had to swap a flat out in the rain, and while a 4 way lug wrench is fine, it's still slower than this little machine for removing nuts.

A word to the wise.

My trailer lug nuts require 90 ft pounds of torque. I tightened the lug nuts as snug as the impact driver would allow and then checked with my torque wrench. The result was 45 ft pounds. I had to finish with a lug wrench. Check your torque!!!

Works for occasional repairs / maintenance

Not sure about everyday use, but it works for occasional repairs and/or maintenance on my Trailmaster XRX 150 (in combination with the ratchet set I already own)

No Power or Torque At All

I bought this to specifically break lug nuts off our wheels. The first one I received had the stitching in the carry case where I could not open the bag completely. Once I did get it out of the bag, I tried it on my Kia Forte lug nut and it would not budge. I then tried it on a Chevy Cobalt lug nut and it would not budge either so I thought it was defective. I contacted Amazon and I had a replacement in my hands in 3 days. The carry case was good on this one, then tried it on the Kia and Cobalt, and still would not budge any lug nuts. I have since tried it on several vehicle’s wheels and it will not remove any of them. I am outside of the return window so I thought I would just use it to lower and raise the scissor jacks on our RV, but it struggles to do that. I have since bought another brand of ½” impact on Amazon, received it on Saturday and BOOM!, out of the box it is removing all lug nuts I am trying it on - it has the power you would expect from an impact tool. Don’t waste your money on this one, it will not do much for you. By the way, the sockets that came with it are not even impact sockets…..

Great for Automotive Repair, Wish I had bought it sooner

Great quality. Perfect for changing a tire or hard to remove bolts. Good long lasting battery life, An excellent alternative to hand powered tools and compressor. Every mechanic should have one.
