These bags are a game changer.

I was completely surprised at just how high-quality these bags are. There's three sizes, and I use all of them regularly. The littlest one is still capable of holding quite a lot of little snacks (I usually use it to bring trail mix to work for snacking throughout my shift), and the middle size one is perfectly sized to hold my sandwich, which I build pretty big. The one I use the most is the large one. I like to pack my salad fixings into it, because with the seal, you can shake it up and get a well-tossed salad really easily, and it allows me to eat some healthier meals at work. I've even used the small bag to hold the dressing, and it didn't spill. And because they're made of silicone, cleaning them is super easy. They're even dishwasher safe, but trust me...don't put the big one in there. It will fill up with water and then the weight of it will cause it to fold over and trap that water in there. Lesson learned. The small and medium did fine on the top rack, held between two posts. However, I was only trying that for the purposes of this review. Handwashing is easy enough. I haven't had call to put them in the oven, but the fact that they're oven-safe up to 425 F is pretty cool. They freeze things well, though. I can't rave enough about these.

Great to use, hard to clean

I've been using these to store leftovers in the fridge and freezer. I have not used them in the oven yet but plan to try eventually. The bags are really thick and durable and hold up well in the freezer. They are a little tough to close but once zipped, they stay closed even if dropped. I honestly like everything about them so far aside from having to wash them. The effort put into cleaning them is part of the reason I haven't cooked with them yet. It is easier to clean them if you flip them inside out, but you may want to airdry. Even lint free towels left little bits stuck to the bag. Air drying did not work for me unless the bag was inside out.

Excellent Quality Silicone Bags - Thick Material, Easy to Open/Close Zip Top, Convenient

The Ziploc Endurables Small, Medium, and Large Silicone Pouches are an excellent set of storage bags that can also be used for cooking. The bags are surprisingly thick and feel very durable. They can be used to safely store items in the freeze, as sous vide cooking bags, or to just store sundry items. The bag is durable enough to use as a baking bag, but I haven't tried that yet. I will note that the bag doesn't have any scent to it and definitely feels like it would be oven safe. The Ziploc top is very sturdy and I love how one side of the top is thicker than the other. This makes the bag easier to open and close as it acted as a sort of handle for the edge. Additionally, the bag has a flat bottom to make pouring food into it much easier. The only complaint I have about this particular bag set is that it can be difficult to clean the corners. The top of the bag has tiny nooks in the corner and if you happen to get sauce in there, it can be a challenge to ensure those spots get completely clean. Overall, if you're looking for multipurpose silicone bags, this is a really good option to consider. They are much better quality than other reusable silicone bags I've tried and will likely last a long time.

They might be worth the cost....

I have mixed feelings about these bags. I'm currently testing freezing pasta in tomato sauce to see how it stands up to potential staining. The Pros: • Super heavy duty • Easy to open, easy to seal The Cons: • Being straight sided, the opening is reduced considerably by the bulk of the closure mechanism. This makes it difficult to spoon in items (like the ziti pasta I'm testing in the medium-size bag) into the small and medium bag. The opening gets messy, additional cleanup, etc. • These take up considerably more storage room due to relative bulk and because they have no rigidity, they have to be stored either flat, or folded over making them even more bulky. • Because of the "limp" factor in the material, the bag is difficult to keep open if doing drip-dry. It needs to be propped open. I draped mine over some inverted glasses. • While they were easy enough to do an initial washing, it will be interesting to see how food washes out. • High cost per unit. This is a barrier to entry at least for me to consider adding to the collection. Due to the shear high cost per unit, this is an item that I would only use in my home. The chance of someone inadvertently throwing it away thinking that the bag was disposable is very high. It will be interesting to see if they are an item that I grab first. As of right now, I don't see myself using them very often. I would also prefer translucent white-color rather than blue.

Perfect for travel

I used these on a recent trip overseas to ensure some of my liquids/gels didn’t leak and to corral loose small items. Worked like a dream. Snap closures stayed securely closed, no leaks, no drama. Just what I needed! I don’t wash in dishwasher because they take forever to dry out and get water spots. Ziploc quality with durability and some eco friendly lastingness.

Good quality sturdy reusable silicone Ziploc bags

Because of the Ziploc name and the novelty of using silicone for reusable bags, I got these to try. The set comes in 3 sizes - approx 8 cups, 2 cups, & 1 cup. The silicone material is very soft and flexible so the zip strip is made quite large compared to disposable Ziploc bags. However that made it quite secure and can hold liquids without spilling. I was able to take leftovers and microwave using the bags, leaving the zip open for ventilation. The bags went from cold to hot without damage or warping. After heating I was glad the bags come with small tabs to hold onto them when the food and bag got hot. The opening doesn't quite get as large as the width of the bag so it's not as easy to put food in. Cleanup was fairly simple - I was able to wash them easily with soap and water. I think the price is quite expensive for the 3 bags - they are reusable many times and they do reduce plastic waste though.
