Good Stairs but, Tops Rattle Loudly

I really like the stairs and their sturdiness... I made the purchase especially, for the fact they're wooden (even though my puppy is tiny, guess I'm over protective)... The only thing is, the tops of the stairs are lose and rattle/make a horrible noise... So, I'm going to get 2-sided tape or something, to go ahead and lock them in place... The 1st time I was dosing off and I heard them banging (because puppy climbed on bed), and it scared the sheeeze out of me; I knew something had to be done... Lol...

Good size for my dog.

I somehow didn't realize I'd have to assemble these. They are actually very nice and a good size for my couch. Stores the doggy blankets nicely. Now if I would quit forgetting they are there and stop tripping over them.

too steep for a 10-pound dog

my dog only weighs ten pounds, and that sounds small... but this little pet ladder is so steep for him that his body is almost upside-down when he tries to walk down it... this thing is better for dogs that weigh like three pounds... those REALLY REALLY tiny ones

This was a very well constructed item.

I didn't dislike this item at all. My dog did. She is a chihuahua and I thought after her surgery she'd like some stairs to help her walk onto my bed. NOPE! She'd rather jump up like always. Highly suggest if you want for one of you fur babies. Strong and sturdy, of course I have a 6lb chihuahua so I'd not suggest for a larger breed. Though I personally did also test it to see if it would my weight. It's still solid and not broken. Just have a extremely picky canine.

Smaller than I had imagined

A little disappointed. I was really excited about these steps, but once I put it together it is A LOT smaller than shown in the pictures. The wood is very cheap and cracks easily. The overall look is okay, but I guess I get what I pay for. I just wish these were a little taller since they only go up halfway to my bed and my chiweenie still has to do a little jump once he reaches the top of the stairs.

Rough and splintery

These look nice but they are really rough and splintery. The wood could have used a lot of good sanding. It is rough to the touch. Also FYI you will need a drill to put these together. They are solid wood and look nice, but I was afraid my pup would get a splinter so I returned them

Pour mon petit lapin. Les marche sont un peu hautes pour un lapin nain, donc j ai modifiée la dernière marche. Je suis toutefois très satisfaite de mon achat et agréablement surprise de la qualité du bois!

It is too flimsy with the lids of the steps and it doesn’t feel sturdy at all. The carpet used is poor quality.me sorry purchase

Requires drill

Honestly, there is truth to the other reviews. For me, some of the pieces of wood did not come with holes drilled into them. This means i will need to use a drill, otherwise the wood will split. This is pretty annoying. Other than that, the stairs are a bit rough so they will need sealed (although idk if i’d describe it as splintery). With a little effort i think these can be really nice, but its more effort than i was hoping to make so I give it 1 star.
