A gift-able set, but the lettering wears off too quickly.

This Chicago Metallic Holiday Baking Set is a nice little set for our kitchen, and it's definitely giftable. The only drawback is that, after using the measuring spoons for a while, the lettering wears off. This makes it difficult to know whether we’re using the correctly sized measuring spoon.

Quality Baking Set, Bit Small

While this baking sheet seems to be closer to a 1/2 size cookie sheet at 10x15, the quality more than makes up for its small size. It's lightweight but sturdy and I noticed a definite difference baking on this versus my old baking pans I've been using: cookies crisped up faster and better than before. For me, who makes rather large cookies, this meant that I had to be careful my cookies didn't burn on the bottom but luckily that wasn't an issue here and I was able to attain that perfect crunchy-on-the-outside-soft-on-the-inside texture of every baker's dream. The pan seems perfectly crafted with no dents or marks, and cookies all baked evenly. As for the spatula, measuring spoon set, and cooling rack they all seem good as well. The baking sheet and pan are of equal quality with neither being scratched despite accidentally using metal utensils and being scraped with the scissors in opening. I think both will hold up quite well over time. As for the spatula--it's decent. I wish the design was on both sides but it's only on one side, and seems sturdy but as others have noted the green part is glued to the wooden handle which means questionable durability. That being said, it is sturdy and stood up well to dense cookie batter. The spoons are probably the least impressive in this set: a weird mix of sizes (noticeably missing the 1/8 tsp), of dollar store quality (plastic and the sizes are printed on which means these will rub off over time), and connected with a ring that doesn't shut close (you can see in my pictures it's more of a C that you pull apart and bends close, but since this too is plastic over time this will get bent out of shape and no longer be functional). My 2nd complaint is the number of zip ties this set was held together with: way too many and way too tight. While it makes for a nice display I ended up scratching up the entire set in trying to cut them. The baking sheet, cooling rack, and spatula all still look good as new but as you can see from my pictures the measuring spoon set ended up with some irreparable scratches. Despite this, I'd still recommend it as a gift or for yourself. The best thing about this set is that aside from the spoons it seems incredibly durable and long-lasting. I washed everything in the dishwasher (despite instructions not to) and everything came out perfectly fine. The set also seems to be able to take a beating as I used a metal spatula with no issues, and when the scissors I used to remove the zip ties scraped the items they showed no wear (except for the spoons as noted earlier). Overall, despite the cons I listed I'd be thrilled to receive this as a gift. It came perfectly decorated (the bow was such a cute finishing touch, and there's a gift tag included as you can see in my picture--it got a bit ripped up during cutting but originally it looked nice and neat). Makes a nice gift, but not dishwasher safe

Whenever I buy a pan I always look at the back side to see how much gap there is where water can cause rust over time. This pan seems very sturdy. It says nonstick and it comes with a cute spatula and measuring spoons and a cooling rack. I like that the cooling rack fits inside the pan so if I make chocolate covered pretzels the candy sprinkles are contained nicely underneath. For the price it’s reasonable I guess, but I’m a bargain shopper and saw these in close out stores around Christmas time for about $15-$20. You make that decision. If you’re like me and prefer to order it online, this is a great gift for any baker or novice to the kitchen. Just know that it says hand wash only. Not dishwasher safe.

Nice set with decent pan and rack, also includes spatula and measuring spoons

Package includes a 10” x 15” baking sheet with a 9” x 14” rack, a spatula and measuring spoons. I really needed a pan this size for my oven baked chicken thighs and being able to cook at 425 degrees is perfect! Cleanup is easy too, with the non-stick pan. The presentation of the pan with the cute bow and Christmas themed spatula and red measuring spoons is cute, but everything is zip tied so tight, it was a challenge to get it all apart. I had to use wire cutters and was afraid of scratching the rack. But, no scratches and all the pieces came loose. The spatula is silicone on a wooden handle. I’m not a big fan of this style of spatula due to the glue doesn’t always stay connected. The measuring spoons include the normal sizes but it’s missing 1/8 teaspoon and has a 1/2 Tablespoon size. The spoons are rounded and do not fit into any of my spice containers. They are sturdy and can be removed from the circular ring if needed. The instructions state to hand wash all parts. I actually used the dishwasher on the spoons and the pan and rack. They seem to be fine. But I do hand wash the spatula. Really cute presentation to be used as a gift; perfect for holiday gift or house warming.

Good sheet and rack

Chicago Metallic Holiday Baking Set, 8-Piece, Multicolor The measuring spoons and the spatula are nothing special, but the pan and cooling baking rack are great quality pieces. The baking sheet is on the smaller side at 10" x 15", as is the 9" x 14" rack. It would be a nice hostess gift or housewarming gift, but otherwise it's a bit overpriced.

Perfect for a first apartment

I got this for my daughter's first apartment in college. It's a nice size and perfect for a small batch of cookies or meal for one or two people. I like that the rack fits neatly in the lipped pan so you can use it as a cooling rack or you can use it in the pan to hold your food up above the pan like if you wanted to broil a steak. The silicone mixing spoon and plastic measuring spoon set will also come in handy.

Nice Holiday cookie sheet..

This is great for Holiday baking. It’s festive with the coloring, but, also has all the of the key items necessary to bake with. Definitely recommend this for baking for yourself or others..
