A fine kayak sponge.

Perhaps my expectations were too high after reading other reviews. I flipped my kayak, used a bilge pump to get a lot of the water out and then switched to try this sponge. Not really impressed. I couldn’t get all of the residual water out and I definitely would have been sponging all day if i tried to use this without first using the pump. I looked at other/ better brands and even comparison videos, and they all seemed pretty much the same so I went with this one because my kayak is yellow. Just FYI, the yellow of the sponge is even more orange than expected from the photo.

It works well

There's not a lot to say about it. It's a sponge. I do like it somewhat better than the NRS version I bought. It has a soft cover on it, which I like, and it is a little bit smaller and easier for me to hang on to. I have small hands and I found the NRS to be a little fat for my liking. Works great. I plan to buy another one or two so I have a spare. I like it.

Soaked up half a sink of water

After reading some reviews that said c it takes time for this spine to start working I decided to test it in sink first. At first v it was just floating, so I pushed it against the bottom of the sink. Bubbles everywhere and then half the water was in the sponge. That was good enough for me, I'll be packing it on my kayak tomorrow.

Great little absorber!!

Went out kayaking with son in law. Brand new kayak. I got in mine no problem but he tipped over in his. We set out on the lake anyways. I asked him if he took on much water he said his feet were soaked, so I handed him the sponge. Because of its size it took about 10 minutes to sponge out the majority of water. Highly recommend, think I’ll go “bigger” next time!!

Works as advertised.

I use this in my kayak and it helps me from having to sit in a puddle of water. Every few minutes I just pick it up and wring it out over the edge.

A Useful Tool For Kayakers

As a kayaker, I often deal with water dripping off of my paddle into my sit-on kayak. It’s not the end of the world but it’s nice to keep a sponge onboard so that you can soak it up and not sit in water while paddling. It works almost too well. The water just disappears and it’s all contained in this absorbent water pillow. The thing I use it for that most people often wouldn’t think of, is to soak up some lake water and wipe down my kayak before I load it onto the car. The sponge itself holds so much water, it’s crazy how easy it is to rinse it off. Also, I use it to run some water on my feet before slipping on my shoes. Makes a big difference, this thing. I wish it weren’t so pricey but it was worth the buy. I would most definitely recommend this product to any boating enthusiast, even larger boats. Keep a couple on board for rinsing on the water. A handy tool.

Grabs the water, sand and pine needles!!!

In NH we are trying hard to keep aquatic invasive species out of our lakes. I am a lake host whose duty it is to help people understand how to accomplish this. "Clean Drain Dry" is our motto. I have actually demonstrated how to clean with my Harmony sponge!!

Good product but wished it were larger

The sponge is great, but wish it were larger. After one uses it a few time, the spronge stays more compressed and absorbs less water. Would have preferred a larger sponge with more capacity. A dry sponge practically doesn't weigh anything so more is better in this case.
