Didn’t fit my kayak

I would have given this 5 stars but…Man I loved this dashboard and it’s just what I need to make my kayak a perfect fishing & day tripping boat. Unfortunately, it’s made ONLY for their Pungo kayak and doesn’t fit my emotion Guster (Costco) kayak. I’ll stick with my dry sack. Darn

Fits the old Pamlico 100 kayak perfect! But it will destroy your shins

Despite the assertion in the Q&A that this wouldn’t fit an older Pamlico 100, it actually does fit perfectly. Nicely made, looks good and handy too! BUT- if you’re anywhere near 6’ tall, this thing will turn your shins to hamburger trying to get in and out. I’ll probably just cut away the unnecessary plastic at the front to make room for my legs.

Original Konsole

Personal preference: I purchased this original version WS Kayak Konsole from Amazon to use in place of the latest Konsole that came with my 2020 Pungo 120. I found this "older design" easier to install and remove and having no need for a lithium battery slot, etc, the old Orix hatch compartment is actually more useful for my purposes. Before purchasing, I borrowed & tried a 2017 Konsole on my 2020 Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 and it fit like a glove, so I ordered one from Amazon. I wish Wilderness Systems would offer the option of choosing the old or new version. This Konsole provides a bit of shade also.

Perception Prodigy 10.0

bought for my Perception Prodigy 10.0. It "fits" perfectly to the kayak but leaves little to no room to enter/exit at least for me @ 5' 8", see photo. I like to lay my legs on deck during long trips and this wouldn't allow that. Very nice accessory I wish I could use but ended up returning. :(

Nice addition to Wilderness Pamlico 135T

This console adds some nice features for the front passenger in our tandem kayak (a 2011 Wilderness Systems Pamlico 135T, for anyone searching/interested in how it fits that kayak). In our case, the front passenger is a 5 year old so having a spot for snacks, water bottle, found objects, and other amusements is enormously helpful on an outing. The console fits well; I only dropped a star because it is expensive for what it is. With any luck, though, it will last a long time. I could easily see us modifying it a bit for some fishing expeditions.

This fits my Wilderness Systems ULTRA LITE 120 Pungo Kayak. It comes in handy for holding water bottles if you can find one that is the right size, otherwise it flops out, not deep enough. Small things fit in the different compartments if you don't mind they may get wet (depending on water/weather conditions). The small lidded round storage compartment is NOT waterproof after just 2 months of use. I put things in dry bags and then into that hatch. The round hatch is a bit of a reach/stretch if you want to go in and out of that compartment while moving. (I'm only 5'3" so that may have something to do with it. My biggest complaint is that it scratches the heck out of the kayak where it sits on the cockpit. If you plan on taking the console on and off like I do depending if the dog comes with me or not, keep in mind it rubs against the plastic on the boat around the cockpit front. On my boat in particular the Ultra Lite Pungo where it shows badly. Overall its a bit pricey for what it offers. It also does not fit on other brands of boats like Old Towne Kayaks. Be careful if you don't have a Wilderness Systems Kayak.

Great when it fits

I have two kayaks. It fit perfectly on a Perception Prodigy 12.0. It did not fit on a Wilderness Systems Aspire 105 (which has a molded dashboard already). It is kept on by adjustable bungee cords that go around the cockpit gunnel... it would be nice if something secured it from underneath as well. I take it off when transporting the kayak on the roof of my truck because I don't trust those bungee cords enough with the wind and bouncing up there, but it is easy to put on and take off. This dashboard DOES - of course - remove some of the open space of your cockpit. I could see it becoming a hindrance if you were over 6 feet 1 inch tall in my Prodigy 12 (that's just a guess). I'm 5'10" and no problems. Also tried it on a Viper 10.4' kayak from Menard's and it did not fit.

Good fit for my Eddyline

Fit my Eddyline Sandpiper way better than I expected. It’s not a perfect fit, but it’s close. A little pricy, but I think it will be worth it. Haven’t tried it out on the water yet, but hope to soon. Will update review once I have.

"New" product looks used and abused

This product was supposed to be brand new when it came to me but it has an inch long crack on the right side where it's supposed to mate with my kayak. It also has a worn out lid and has scratches all over the dry box. I'd say this product is used and I paid for a brand new one.
