Good

There is no way to contact the atelier on here. I like the tank. Good for beginners. My betta is happy. But the filter didn't come with the sanction cups and we really need them. The filter is just dangling.

I have a broken hearted five year old..

The tank looked great. I was glad it came with the filter and a lot of cartridges for replacing. I also loved the idea of a plastic tank since this was for my five year old to have in his bedroom. His first big boy responsibility! We’ve had this for a couple weeks now… the filter is loud. But that was something we were going to just live with. One day into having fish… one was dead. Water quality was perfect per the pet stores testing. All the other fish were fine… Two days into having fish.. another dead fish.. I’m very upset that I didn’t see or realize what was happening until tonight, after another death in the tank. It’s the filter. There is no control of the flow. But the back of the filter.. where it’s sucks the water in… sucks smaller fish up against it. And they cannot get away. This is where I found our missing fish tonight. Stuck to the filter. I had previously seen our little African dwarf frog back there and had to nudge him off. I assumed he was just hiding. But now after feeling for myself, the suction is just too much for the small fish. It’s a five gallon tank. Which means people are going to be putting small fish into it.. I just hope you guys have some strong swimmers! Because our guppies couldn’t handle it. And now my five year old knows all about death and funerals. NOT how I had hoped this adventure into growing up and getting responsibilities would go. Other complaints.. the space in the lid for the power cord for the filter, is only big enough for that one cord. So.. if you get a heater, and a bubbler.. the lid no longer sits flush like it’s supposed to. Also the lid.. isn’t hinged or anything. So you have to prop it up just right so it stays open and doesn’t fall off. Not the best design for small kids to do on their own during feedings. The button for the lights.. I don’t know if it’s loose or just defective. But once it’s turned on, you just nudge it a little to get the color to change. It doesn’t click. It just seems strange. So I leave it on white or whatever color it’s on when I turn it on for him.

Great tank!

This is the third tank I have purchased for my Betta. Its the perfect size and I've had Bettas all my life, so yes, the tank is big enough for one. He absolutely loves it. My only issue is I wish the filter speed could vary but other than that, big thumbs up for me. Pumps are pretty inexpensive so if one goes out, just purchase another.

Great tank

The Amazon listing pictures don’t really do this tank any justice. This tank is very pretty and the colored lights are vibrant! It’s not too noisy but you can’t find anything completely noiseless. It’s a great price. I did however switch out the filter it came with for a sponge filter since I have a betta.

Read Carefully - Doesn't Include Everything Shown in Main Photo

I realize this is my fault for not reading carefully because I was in a rush. But since it was labelled as a "starter kit" I expected it to have all the basics, including gravel and a few plants as pictured. It is just the aquarium, filter, and lighted cover. Still not bad, but i probably would've shopped around a little more to see if this was really the best value if I'd realized it didn't include everything.

Got half

The video led me to believe all tank accessories we're included. All that came was tank , hood , and filter. No gravel,or fake plants. Tank and filter are working fine, and the led lights are great. Need to clarify the items other than that I'm satisfied.

Quiet, easy to set up, would recommend

I use this for my single Betta and a small Pleco. Great setup, not loud, enough room for a small heater. Only downside is the button for the light immediately sank when I first set it up - I can still push the button, but it's not tight enough in the lid to be secure.

Pump and filter will die and kill your fish

As some of the other reviews have mentioned, the pump and filter died after 5 days, killing half of my beloved fish. This is simply not fit for purpose and even at 50% off I would not buy this again. At 75% off it might be an OK tank with a light. I would recommend you then use the savings to buy a proper pump and filter.
