Not what I thought but its good
It's heavier than I thought it was going to be. Feels like more than 40lbs. We got a bigger one than necessary because I wanted my pup to have lots of room. I think setup will get easier once we get a better hang of it and practice a few times. The wheels are nice, but I probably won't end up traveling with it like I thought, especially if it's just me. I don't know if it was worth the price but we will probably keep it anyway. I also just borrowed a generation 1 crate, and I'm not sure what the differences are. So I would save some change and just get the 1st generation at lower cost if I did it all over again.

Nice Looking Crate
I like the look of this crate compared to an all wire one. I have the small size for my little dog which I bought years ago so now that I got a second dog, a puppy who's growing, I opted for the "medium" size in the same crate. The medium is significantly larger than the small. It's too big for my puppy yet the small is too small. I'm also disappointed that after one road trip with the crate folded flat, a piece underneath broke off (which holds the elastic bands) and one of the clips for the top also came off when I attempted to unfold and reassemble. Doesn't seem as well made. Not sure if I received a refurb or it has something to do with the larger size or what. Because the first one I bought (small size) years ago (not on Amazon) is pretty solid.

Too heavy for travel
Just wanted a quick fold crate for travel. One of the pooches shreds mesh so went with this but too big and heavy.

Compact and sturdy
We bought it for the new RV. Our dog is kennel trained. We set it up in the house for several weeks next to his regular kennel which is taller and familiar. He is a Pitt Bull mix that weighs 58lbs. He opted for the familiar one. The medium is plenty big just not as tall. He can sit up in it but doesn't have the same head room as the other one. He wasn't opposed to it just likes his regular digs more, no surprise. I like all the features it offers. The smooth rounded corners, garage door style and other door making access very compatible in a RV. It's easy to set-up. move and store for travel. I would recommend it.
