Works well, just not as great as I hoped
This is great for my calves, feet, neck and arms. I don't care for how it feels on my shoulders and back, and it's not effective on my hamstrings. 4 stars

Sturdy and long massage roller in bold colors
I am all for massage at any time, props or not. When I saw this massage stick, I decided to gove it a try. Normally I use bolsters and roller balls for massaging by back and feet. I wanted to give this massager a try because it is a stick and I never used stick on my self before. I was really surprised when I received the product. It arrived in a plain soft white, narrow packaging that required a large amazing box with lots of padding to ship. Stick has a combination of lime green and black colr and it has a row of 9 rollers. one the end of the product is a handle with a grip and at the side of the grip is product's logo which I must say is very attractive. This stick is quite long. For that reason it can be used on people who have broad shoulders and torso. In some way the product reminds me of abacus because of the moving rollers. However the material is not wood, it is some sort of plastic, yet still very sturdy. I have not figured out how to use this product on myself (by myself) if I need a back massage but I will work with my massage therapist and have him use it n me especially when my shoulders and neck have deep knots and muscle tension. For marketing purposes, I would recommend to manufacturer to make packaging a little bit more appealing and also include basic information about the product, such as materials that it is made of, manufacturing origin and perhaps even suggestions or pictures on how to use the product. It would be helpful for professionals in massage industry and also professionals in the health exercise industry..

Simple and effective.
For quads, hammies, calves, and shins this massager is great! It is easy to use, and sturdy enough to really put some serious and consistent pressure on sore and/or tight muscles. While it is not quite as great as units built specifically for the purpose, it also feels pretty great on the soles of the feet. Because it is designed for two handed use, the massager – like most non-automated massagers – is pretty much useless for the upper body without some help. With some help, however, it is also great for really squeezing the tension (what I like to call computer shoulders) out of the traps. I noticed that some other reviewers said that they would have preferred foam or padded rollers, but I personally prefer the harder rollers, as it allows me to get the same deep rub with less application of pressure. For what it is – and considering the reasonable price point – I think it’s a winner.

This is a nice alternative to the foam rollers one can use. The difference here is that you activate the various muscles yourself. With a foam roller you put it on the floor and use gravity to apply pressure. With this thinner, plastic roller you use your own arms to determine the pressure. That said, it mostly works on legs and lower torso areas unless you have someone else roll you out on the upper back, etc. But its a roller. This isn't rocket science. You use a foam roller or you use this depending on what you want. This works and is nice, but its not streets ahead or behind any other thin roller designed for the purposes this is designed for.

Helpful for tight leg muscles
This roller has been excellent in working out tight muscles in my legs. The ends of the massage stick are stationary, but the middle sections roll independently. It's very easy to roll out tight muscles (although I found it easier to have someone else help with upper back muscles). I liked that I could adjust the pressure as needed. It is fairly compact and lightweight, so it doesn't take up a lot of space when I don't need it. I just tuck it away with our exercise equipment and pull it out as needed.

It's okay
This product wasn't as solid (feels really light) as I'd expected it, I've had another similar product that had much more of a sturdy feeling however this still does the job. They use a hard plastic rather than a hard rubber as I was expecting. I'd recommend this for anyone who is on a budget and needs it for small maintenance on massaging muscles
