Works, but caution with heavier speakers

These were as advertised. However, even though they are weight rated for our speakers, there was a lot of flexing and we braced them to the adjoining wall. In reality they are probably best for speakers somewhat less than what they rate them for

Just what I needed. Not the one on the first picture.

It works just as I expected it to, but I was halfway expecting to get what they show in the first picture. Instead it's what you get in the pictures after that. A hollowed out plate. Not that it matters if you buy this for speakers as it was intended for. I used mine to get a Thunderbolt 2 dock off of the desk and on the pole of a monitor stand. I simply zip tied the dock to the stand. In the future I might make an actual shelf to screw on to it. But it works, no complaints except for what I thought I was getting versus (vs., v.) what I got.

Reasonably sturdy, works fine!

I considered getting the more expensive metal alternative but I'm satisfied with this purchase. All it has on the subwoofer pole is a Chauvet 4Play (dance light) and it's fine. I would not use this for a speaker or anything weighing in excess of 10-15 pounds on a tall pole (my lights are about 55" off the deck and you can wobble them quite a bit but they're secure.)

Good for small speakers, but wouldn't count on them for anything large

Perfect for my small speaker / PA set, which came with factory installed set screws. Having used them a few times, though, the material doesn't seem sturdy enough for larger bins which would apply more shear if they were to wobble get knocked. That's my untested assessment, for what it's worth.

I just used these mounts for some studio speakers and they worked out great. Very well constructed of a substantial material. Hardware is well made.
