When I need to remind myself to not have more kids

I am overly sentimental about my kids’ clothing and baby blankets. Ok maybe not overly sentimental, but definitely invested in being able to shake them out one day to show them so they can go, “Er, thanks, Mom.” I looked into having their baptism gowns professionally boxed and preserved, but once I saw the $450 price tag to get them all done, I died. No I didn’t. I just looked for a cheaper way to do it. Enter these boxes. They are big enough to fit a TON of itty bitty baby clothes. The boxes came with acid free paper, but I bought extra just in case I needed more. I was able to package the sentimental stuff with plenty of room to spare for all four of my kiddos. After all the work washing and drying and folding and wrapping, I realized that while I love the tiny things, I don’t ever want to change diapers, lose sleep, become engorged, and heal from childbirth ever again. So this was a two-fer. “Good” mom task complete? Check. Permanent birth control achieved? Check.

How to know if it's really acid-free?

I tested this box with my ph pen and it tested acidic. In talking to S A Richards, they tried to assure me that it did pass all the tests for an acid free product; however, they send it to an outside lab to have it done, so they are acting in faith as well. Since I've already opened the product and can't return it, I guess I will have to wrap the items in muslin or tissue and hope for the best. I'm not real confident in this purchase. It is rather difficult to put the box together with only one person, but it can be done. It's not real sturdy, but OK. I don't see how it's going to keep creatures out since there are gaps in it. I suppose it can be enclosed in a muslin bag. I regret this purchase.

Not as advertised

I was sent 2 boxes way bigger than advertised. 18 1/2” by 30 1/2” by 6 1/2” high. There is a crease in the center due to the way it was packed. Definitely returning it. If you want to save money on acid free storage, it’s a product that would work if you don’t mind the crease. But the measurements are wrong.

Impossible Assembly

Absolutely impossible to assemble, no proper instructions & photos provided make no sense! Item returned.
