Great set!

Let me start by saying this is my first time ever picking up pastel chalks. I've been watching videos with them and became obsessed. I wanted to try a "cheap" set to practice with. These work EXACTLY like the guys in the video and his cost hundreds of dollars. I love them! I'm having so much fun. Very easy to shave, blend, mix... Washes off my hands with a regular baby wipe. Will definitely be ordering again. Also they arrived all in one piece (I see that as a common review issue but broken sticks wouldn't have bothered me much.)

So let me say up front that this is my very first chalk pastels that I have ever bought -- I am a beginner Colorist. But what I also can say is that if these are the low man on the totem pole as far as chalk pastels go, then I would hate to see the best! Because these are very vibrant colors which has taken the backgrounds in my artwork to another whole level! I bought these because I have the Sargent Art colored pencils and are so please with them that I figured I couldn't go wrong buying this name brand again. Sargent Art be doing it!

For my son’s 4th grade homeschool lessons they are fine. I have no experience with other chalk pastels, but am guessing more expensive ones would be better for someone wanting to produce high quality. These just don’t smudge like the paintings we are trying to replicate. But I’d buy again for a kid.

Very good quality. None arrived broken and after teaching some middle/high school age kids how to use them for an art project, I still had them all in one piece. I was quite impressed. Also the pigment was great! The kids made quite a mess but the finished projects were gorgeous! Really boosted the confidence in the kids to see what they did. We used them on black cardstock and they were incredibly bright and very rich looking. The kids and I are looking forward to using them again!

Super recomendados llegaron muy pronto venían muy bien empaquetados ninguno venía roto, son muy fácil de utilizar muy buen grosor me durará por un buen tiempo yo lo utilizo para maquillar muñecas y solo los probé un poco y quedó maravilloso el maquillaje los recomiendo mucho.

Vivid colors, perfect for our needs

Several pastels arrived broken which is a little disappointing, but that’s part of the risk of shipping something so delicate. My son loved the set anyways and the colors are vivid

Good pigment

I bought these, not to draw with, but to use as a pigment in epoxy and it works perfectly. Based on the other review it seems like it is also good for doing what it's meant to do.

De la qualité !

Très tendres, ils ne sont pas "poussiereux" comme d'autres que j'ai déjà achetés. Ils sont très pigmentés et adhérents aussi très bien au papier. Que dire de plus? ACHETEZ! Argent bien investi!
