Keep your cockpit and legs dry

Does a good job shedding drips from your paddle. The pockets are handy for items that you don't mind getting wet. It's not quite as water resistant as I would like on the edges. Make sure to adjust the bows up as high as possible to help shed water. Really keeps the cockpit warm. My only complaint is that you can't use the dashboard bottle holder while using this cover. It's a small price to pay.

So far so great.

Just for public knowledge since there is absolutely no information about this particular kayak currently online: This sun/spray skirt DOES fit a 2020 Pelican Clipper 100x. It has a massive cockpit size (129 inch circumference on outer rim) and this skirt fits perfectly. Keep in mind that it will cover up the cupholder (I have yet to try on the smaller circumference). Will add pictures and more info as soon as I field test it.

Has a purpose

I have had my Pungo 120s for just a few weeks now. I haven't even used the console dash at this point. The sunshield is very effective at keeping random paddle drips off of you. The promo ads you see for this product never show you how to actually install it. If you put it on first, there is not much chance of you slipping into the kayak. No room. You need to get it, sit down, and the pull the bungee over your head. Then set the bungee in behind you and stretch the front out and over. It's best to do this before you shove off into the open water.

Great Addition to my Kayak

Was a little concerned when I ordered the splash cover that it might be too big for my Pelican 120XR Recreational Kayak. The cockpit is 50 X 23.3 inches and the seat is positioned forward of the rear bulkhead making the Sunshield even closer to the paddler. I had to push the fabric along the bungee cord so it did not come too close to me and wrapped tape on the bungee to keep the material from sliding back. That solution has worked great. I mostly paddle in the ocean in protected bays but have had two to three foot waves causing spray to hit the front of the cockpit and the Sunshield keeps me dry and the rubber edging keeps the cover from slipping off. I attached a small bungee cord between the Sunshield bungee and the decking cord in case I drop the cover in the water when removing it which has happened a number of times. The Sunshield also makes for a nice resting place for my paddle leash so it is not hitting my legs. The Sunshield does a great job of protecting my legs from the sun which is one of the reasons I purchased it. Overall I am very happy with this product and have used it many times on 3 to 4 hour trips.

Good product, good fit and quality.

Fits a pelican argo x-100 very well. Protect you from the sun and keeps you dry from the water dropping down the paddle.
