Works but it is almost too short.
Installing a Takonsha Primus IQ in my 2012 Tundra, this cable was almost too short and it took me awhile to get it to run via the most direct route possible. For a dash installation, the only place this would reach would be the top left part of the dash (in front of the defrost vent and speaker). Otherwise, it will have to be a knee-knocker somewhere on the lower part of the dash. The cable is well made and the connectors fit perfectly - I just wish it was 6" longer.

Easy to install. Works as expected.
Since I didn't like the idea of anything protruding from under the dash where my legs are, or potentially kicking it while getting in and out, I decided to find a place to put the controller out of the way. After all, the chances of needing to access it after initial adjustments is pretty low. Thankfully, my 2013 Tundra has two glove boxes and the top one I didn't use all that much. To mount it in the glove box, I removed the whole thing from the dash and drilled 4 holes for the small bracket on the top. I then used two black zip ties to secure the unit to the inside of the glove box. Next I used a dremel tool to cut a rectangular hole through the back of the glove box for the wire harness plug. I may have got lucky in getting my snake to go right through the back of the dash from the glove box to the gas pedal. This allowed me to easily run the wire harness, which I cut and spliced to extend it. I hope you like this install as much as I do. I wish Amazon would let pictures be uploaded.

Plug and play
Purchased this harness for my 2007 Toyota Sequoia worked as described. Removed the left kick panel and plugged into factoryharness, zero splicing required.

Perfect Fit - not sure why the redunant ground is required
OK ordered the is for my 2013 Tundra w/ Tow package Harness is plug and play with several Tekonsha controllers and maybe others (?) found my white factory connector and plugged in the harness routed to the installed controller ( knee panel just below the rear window switch) The harness is neatly wrapped in a sleeve as shown with the redundant white ground wire fully exposed from the controller connector........ I wrapped it in black tape about 8-10" from the connector to hide the white wire then routed it to a secured location ( brake pedal bracket) needed to open up the eyelet with a drill bit and then secure behind the factory nut. Tie wrapped out of the way, looks factory. Good Luck

The photo shows a 3040-p but what you get is 3040. A 3040 has one less pin.
I had to return and reorder.

Plugs right in
Plugged right into the plug behind floor board panel on my 2005 Tundra, and plugged right into my brake controller, and attach ground. Pretty easy.

Worked great in my Tacoma.
The cable length is perfect to connect to the Clutch pedal bolt and zip tie nice to mount between the legs under the wheel. Made the installation simple and easy.

Makes Installation of Controller a Breeze
I used this to connect a brake controller to my 2010 Toyota Tundra. Assuming you get the proper adapter for your vehicle, installation could hardly be simpler. Plug one end into the vehicle connector and the other into the controller. The trickiest part is finding a place to properly mount the ground wire. Once that's complete, DONE.

Right length
This is the right length to run from my brake controller in my 2014 Tundra, lower dash right side of steering column to the pre wire connector in the left kick panel no extra wire to deal with and plug n play both ends.
