Fit to purpose

This gadget is one of the more expensive grabbers available. I chose it because I wanted a reliable, precise tool. I compared this grabber to others that I saw for sale at local stores. This one (Nifty Grabber) is better built and more precise. With light and occasional use, it should last forever. You can't use this grabber to pull something really hard or to lift something that is really heavy. Look carefully at the green handle in the picture. You squeeze it towards the aluminum shaft to grab something. You might not find this to be comfortable. It's personal preference. Other grabbers use a different arrangement. With practice, you will be able to retrieve surprisingly small or flat items. You can also improvise. For example, I cut up a wire clothes hanger and duct-tape one piece of the wire to each of the rubber jaws of the Nifty Grabber. I was then able to grab a piece of wire mesh screen from a rain gutter outside my home. Without the Nifty Grabber, this would have been rather dangerous.

Nifty Nabber Review

Both my wife and myself have difficulty bending over to pick things up. We've used a similar nabber for the past 5 years and decided to obtain another to locate in a strategic location. After searching numerous local stores with no luck finding this unit, I decided to go on line. We received this unit in short order. It is of robust construction and of quality material and construction. I recommend it without reservations.

Handle is easy to squeeze & has leverage to pick up items on floor or up high !

It really works well compared to cheaper varieties. Rubber & steel combination work together to hold item & grab at same time.
