Super high quality set

I ordered the Genuine Fred Howligans - Mug + Dog Bowl - Best Friend to keep for myself and my chihuahua. I realize that the mug is supposed to be for the human, but my dog actually likes to drink out of mugs beside every piece of furniture (bedside, couch-side, etc) and has her own collection of dog mugs, so this one got added to the dog mug group, and my dog uses both the bowl for eating, and the mug for drinking out of beside the bed. These dishes are really heavy and constructed in a high quality and durable way. I have used the dish washer an also hand washed these many many times, and there is no chance of the graphic coming off, or anything like that. I think this is a really cute and simple set, perfect for anyone of any age or gender, and I definitely recommend it. It was packaged in a nice little box and was very "gift-set-like"- I felt almost guilty opening it up and keeping it for myself. Definitely recommend.

Humorous graphics, functional, but not microwave or dishwasher safe

This review is for the Genuine Fred Howligans - Mug + Dog Bowl - Best Friend. What more could “Man’s Best Friend” and “The Man” need than their own matching Mug and Bowl. It is a nice looking ceramic set, somewhat humorous of course in appearance, and very functional. The mug is a typical coffee mug size, and the bowl has a 6.5” diameter, 2.25” deep. Probably the 2 most important things to be aware of regarding this set is that they are NOT microwave safe, and should be hand washed, so no dishwasher for these items. I suspect the dishwasher issue is that the graphics may wear aware off if washed in a dishwasher. Personally, I don’t like hand washing items, so I may just take the chance of the graphics wearing off over time.

Mug Handle Is Small but Daisy Loves The Bowl!

This is a cute set but I wish the handle on the mug was a little bigger. There is no way my husband can get his big old fingers through it - and even when I use a mug I like to have more room. Daisy the Dog absolutely loves her new bowl though especially as we save it for when she gets a special dinner (yes she is totally spoiled!).

Cute and beautiful, very well made

This is a cute and beautiful ceramic mug and pet bowl set. It consists of a 16 oz. mug and a 32 oz. pet bowl. Both are very well made and have a quality feel to them. They are microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe. The mug is practical and easy to hold while the pet bowl is just as functional and doesn't slide across the floor easily thanks to its weight. Both also have a slightly curved rim, which makes it easy to empty the liquid out with less dripping down the side. The printing on them is bold and sharp. It really stands out over the white ceramic background. This comes well packaged in a colorful retail box. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set. Cute, beautiful, functional and practical. I really love the message on them, which is a powerful expression of the bond between the human and the dog. This would be a great gift for your loved one who has a dog, or just for yourself. The price is reasonable for such a high-quality ceramic set. It's worth checking it out. I love mine, so does my dog. She keeps going back to her new bowl (for the food obviously).

Cute and Funny

Got this for my husband and our bad dog. Figured maybe some humor on her bowl would make her appear less bad :) The dish is a nice heavy weight and big enough for her scant cup of food. The mug is decently sized and smoothly glazed. My one complaint is that they’re both hand wash and the mug isn’t microwaveable. One star off for that since it’s inconvenient.

My Favorite Mug and My Dog's Favorite Bowl (Whether He Likes it or Not!)

The Genuine Fred Howligans Mug and Dog Bowl Set is a perfect gift to get for your dog loving friends. The mug and bowl set is exactly like what you see in the photo - the ceramics are nicely printed, have a good heavyweight feel to them, and simply look adorable. The dog bowl is large enough for all but the largest breed dogs. The "I ♥ My Human" is printed only once, and the bowl has a nice heft to it. It holds 32 ounces, which is larger than my dog needs, but will happily eat from. The "I ♥ My Dog" mug is printed on both sides so you can proclaim your love from your dog in two different directions (right handed or left handed!). Both the mug and bowl are dishwasher and microwave safe, and the printing won't fade or scratch off. It's so much fun to drink my tea in the morning from this mug while my dog enjoys his breakfast. This is a gift I'm glad I got myself, and is something I will definitely be picking up for my dog owning friends.

Reminds me how much we love each other.

This is such a cute idea because me and my pitbull are so close. The mug is a large size and does well in the dishwasher. The bowl is more of a medium and a little hard for my girl to eat out of. You will need a mat otherwise the bowl will slip. I have a laminate floors. The set is boxed up and would make a great gift. However, this is for us.

Love It!

My family knows that I am a sucker for my dog, as I often give excuses for his orneriness, and I'm sure this is the case in many households. My Yorkie has a stainless steel set of bowls for his dry dog food and water, but he likes his wet food, and I wanted a bowl that everyone knew was his, as no one wants to eat out of a bowl that a dog has licked clean, at least in our household. He eats a half can of wet food for dinner, and this bowl is actually perfect for him, as it stays in place, so I can put it down and not worry about tripping over him. The mug is a nice weight for my coffee or any other drink I choose to put in it, and everyone knows it's mine. The bowl and mug makes me smile every time I look at them. This is the perfect gift for anyone who is a dog lover!
