Can't be beat for the price

There are a couple comments about how these clamps will hold up to a certain amount of weight but you probably shouldn't go past that and I just want to address that before anything else. I lift well over what those people claim the limits to be on 3 lifts, two of which get dropped pretty hard at the end of my final rep each set. One of the lifts is zercher squats with 425lbs and they get dropped to safety bars since that's where I prefer to start the lift from rather than from the extended position, and those get dropped hard usuually. The other lift is deadlifts which are right at the 405lb mark and they definitely get dropped there. The clamps don't move at all, they don't act like they're going to fail, they don't feel any looser. If you need a set of semi-disposable clamps to take to the gym with you, these are what you should buy. I primarily bought them so I can use the safety squat bar at one of my gym's locations because the bar is bent and I was having weights shake off without the clamps and the spring style clamps that the gym did have were all stretched out. I do 455lbs on the safety squat and I've never seen the clamps so much as hint at slipping. I've been using them 5-6 days a week for the last month and a half and I see no signs of wear or hints of impending failure. Don't worry so much about the weight on the bar, just make sure that if you're dropping the bar, that the bar drops evenly so that both sets of plates hit at the same time and you should be set. As always, check your equipment before use but you'll be satisfied with this product if you do buy it.

The collars secure the plates very well????

I like that the plates don't move at all. I'm not worried about them unlocking. They are very tightly lock down. Only small complaint is they are a little hard to unlock, but I can still get them off pretty easily. All and all, I would recommend these to a family member or friend ????.

Great weight collar

It was a little tight the first time we put them on the bar, but after leaving them overnight, clamped on the bar, it was easier to take on and off. After a few months now, still snug, and work great.

Nice and Snug

These are nice and snug on a 2 inch bar. The lock and release mechanism is easy enough to use. I have red and I am happy with the color. Construction is good. These are plastic but unless I’m beating them, I think they will last some time.

They do the job, a little tight

I bought a couple sets for my work gym, they do the job. They fit a little tight on our Rogue bars, but not really an issue.

These work on 1.9" Axles

I haven't even used mine yet but the quality looks decent and the price is great. I was happy to find out these fit well on 1.9" bars. Will update my review if I find any issues.

These clamps easily lock and unlock, strong, they hold weight better and feel more safer then the spring clamps. I recommend this product and will be purchasing more in the future.

while plastic it holds up quite well. solid click and unlock mechanism. will last a long time with proper care. overall quite happy with the product.
