Good tape, tricky application

This is probably the 4th brand of kinesiology tape I've tried. I like cutting my own pieces based on the application, so this roll is perfect. I also like the built-in stretch indicators- they allow for consistency of application once I find a good tension for the condition I'm taping. However, where this particular tape loses a star (for me) is the backing paper. Compared to other brands of tape, this backing paper is very prone to tearing as I try to remove it. This means that I wind up touching the adhesive side way more than I like to. On other brands, I tear off my anchor, apply it to the skin, then I "push" the tape to expose the end of the backing paper so I can peal it off (not sure if that explains the technique well). This causes the end of the backing paper to lift so I can grip it and peal it back easily. On this tape, when I begin to push, the paper does not lift. In addition, once I do get a grip, it almost always tears so I have to peal multiple pieces off. Other than that little annoyance, the tape works as advertised. Maybe I'll figure out another way to get the backing paper off more easily

Has totally gone downhill

I used this tape ALL last summer for a bad case of tendonitis. It was wonderful. This year, I started having a flareup so once again ordered this tape. First of all, I had ordered 6 rolls last year. So I placed my order through the buy it again option and thought I was getting 6. The picture showed six. The small print said one, but I didn't look at that, I was reordering the buy it again option. So, when only one came, the package was open and I was sure the other 5 had fallen out in the truck. Nope. That incredible price was for one roll. But since it was so good last summer, I got on and ordered 2 more rolls. I should have waited. I then used the tape and I literally had it on for 30 mins and the corners started coming up. Several hours later it was just completely hanging/dangling. They have raised the price for an inferior product. I am ordering another brand and will get 4 rolls for less than the price of the 2 that I am returning. Sad. This has always been a good brand.

Like Magic

For those of you who haven't tried kinesiology tape.....at least for knee and ankle issues its astounding, that's the word that comes to mind. As to individual brands....I'm convinced most reviews are just subjective personal taste and your experience will sometimes match up with a review and sometimes be completely the opposite. I use and continue to use Rock Tape, Kinesio Tex Gold and Theraband. Of the three, I like Rock Tape the least and the Theraband the most. In terms of functionality I would rate them all almost identical. The preference of one over the other comes in when considering overall comfort on my skin for up to 12 hours and then again 12 hours or more. I would recommend not buying the pre-cut strips and cutting strips that exactly match up with your particular application.

I'm impressed!

I use KTTape and have tried many generic brands. The generic work "ok", but they seem to fail with adhering. TheraBand Kinesiology Tape works great and hold through a BATH and could easily stay intact during a shower. It works so well that it takes a little work to remove it when it is stuck to itself (I wrap it around the arch of my foot). Once I able to pull it away from itself, it is easy to remove from the skin. I would highly recommend this product. I also like the pattern imprinted on the tape because it helps make it less visible on my skin. I am fair, but do not know if they have other skin colors. If not, this would be a welcome addition. Thanks for a great product.

Life Saving

TheraBand makes great products but this is my favorite. I have several brands of kinesiology tape. This is my everyday one. For me, it's a lifesaver. I have a lot of orthopedic problems--too many to go into here--but when I tape my knees I can function fairly well. By that I mean I can go up and down stairs and bend from the knee and do mildly athletic activities. Without the tape, I can't do those without pain and further wear and tear on my knees, which are out of alignment since surgeries. So I don't think I exaggerate when I say this is a life saver for me. It allows me some normal activity. Some of the heavier tapes leave red marks on my skin from the adhesive This one does not, hence the everyday wear. I use a pro level when I go to the pool, so I have to change the tape frequently to let my skin recover. This tape is great value. I have become expert at cutting it, so although the strips are more convenient, I save money by buying the rolls. Also, the visual measure of stretch is fantastic.

Good support and adhesion compared to low cost substitutes. Does not irritate skin

This is twice as expensive as others, but the quality is lot better. The glue is very good compared to the ones I tried ~600rs range. And is non irritant on skin. It does not cause any blisters /uneasiness in prolonged use. Easily lasts more than 2 days.
