Don’t go by their measurement guide!

Bought this fan for my rental house that has no ceiling fans. It works really well, but be sure you measure the 1.25” yourself, don’t go on their measurement guide. They sent two of them and they’re both wrong.

Bough April 2020

We’ve had this fan since April 2020 and have had no issues with it! We’ve had it in our bedroom and love it! It is loud but we love to sleep with the noise.

Easy assembly

The media could not be loaded. I received my fan today, put it together and it blows out wonderfully. This is on low. It may be noisy for some, but it helps me sleep.

Powerful and easy to use - install not so much

This fan runs great, very powerful even on LOW. Have het to use any higher speed as it's powerful enough on low. Remote is cheaply made but works great regardless, WILL NEED YOUR OWN BATTERIES, DOESN'T COME WITH ANY. Installation wasn't as good. This was replacing a Air King wall fan I had and I already had a mounting plate on the wall that simply has a slide-on blade that a fan bracket would just slide over. This new fan required 2 screws be put into wall then those 2 screws had to be lined up to the 2 holes on the back of the fan. Not very easy to do hanging a heavy fan, trying to line up 2 small screws to 2 small holes. I managed to rig it to work with my existing Air King wall plate and it works fine without any extra screws installed. Overall this is a great powerful fan at a very good price, just need better mounting process and maybe a better remote with maybe a magnet for storage on cabinets or fridges.

Adequate and Inexpensive fan.

This fan from Tornado has good functions. The remote control was the main thing I was looking for. The buttons are easy to memorize, both size and placement, for use in my dark theater room. Second was a large enough diameter blade for how large my room is. As well as the variable speed due to the distance I sit from it while watching movies. One thing to take into consideration for sure is that you will most likely need to lubricate the oscillating points yourself! After only one night of running non-stop the fan began to slightly squeak and squeal as it hit the limits of its rotation back and forth. (Oscillation) Ensure the fan is unplugged and use a silicone based clear lubricant. I use a can with a small straw included that protrudes from the nozzle. Thus being able to easily pinpoint exactly where the lubricant goes. With the fan upright, spray gently into the area at the base of the housing where you can plainly see that it pivots. And then: <<>> ...turn the fan upside down and lubricate the pivot points as they enter the motor housing as well. After that, this fan is silky smooth and has since been rather quiet. Naturally if that simple task weren't necessary I would have given it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review.

Too loud, but it will work.

Light duty construction, but ABS blades and metal neck. Easy to install with the template. No wobbling so far. I added a thin foam layer between the base and wall as the fan has a very little bit of rattle when oscillating. It is not as quiet as a ceiling fan even when run at low speed. Decibel rating is 60 (per manufacturer) on low, equivalent to conversational talking, is too noisy for sleeping. The noise does annoy as I am accustomed to quiet ceiling fans. Fortunately for my application, circulating the air around a wood burning stove, the noise is tolerable since I won't be near the fan most of the time. In a bigger room, in an environment with more background noise-kids, TV, barking dog-- the fan noise wouldn't be as noticeable I suspect. Would I buy it again? Sure--but not for a bedroom or my reading room. I'll pay more to get a quiet fan, preferably one with a multiple speed control, not just 3 speeds.

This is a powerful fan, but NOT for a bedroom.

Purchased Tornado 16 Digital fan for my cave (garage) where I occasionally (OK, a whole bunch) nap and sleep. It is filled with features: 3 different modes normal, sleep and nature. 3 speeds and a swing function. The body is heavy and well made and the mounting guide for included screws is perfect. Now the CON and it is almost a deal breaker it is VERY, VERY loud at the low level. It will blow your socks off but it sounds like a Cessna 172 as the power is applied. My mistake getting the 16 inch. I am keeping it because I can use it in my shop. Live in Florida and it will be perfect over my work bench.
