Perfect Amount of Hold for Fencing

What I needed it for: A DIY fencing project. Perfect for what I needed. I needed approximately 50 ft of stiff chicken wire-type fencing about 2-3ft high, and that’s what I received, conveniently wrapped and ready to go. My neighbors knocked down our lovely wooden fence accidentally while doing yard word, and our landlord came by and replaced it with (short, 6ft by 40ft) chain link fence. Problem is, I have dogs. 2, in fact. And both neighbors have their own pets (another dog, and a cat). Not only is my big pup a pro fence-jumper, but both will all bark day and night at every little movement, or person, or animal they see. I needed a (cheap, nonpermanent per landlord) way to make the chain link higher so big dog can’t jump over, and I needed to make it so all dogs can’t see through. Because both me and my neighbors were going nuts with the barking. And the cat couldn’t come out anymore because the other neighbor’s dog would terrorize it. I ordered this fencing material and zip tied it to the chain link, effectively extending the fence to be about 8 ft tall. I also covered the fence on my side with tarp, and eventually plan on replacing it with a privacy cover purely for aesthetics, but for now this will do. The barking has stopped, there haven’t been any more escapes, and I feel more secure knowing my pets are safe.

Great price for good product

The only thing that I didn’t like: when unwinding the wire it was hard to find where it started and once loosened it sprung open and cut my hands. There should be a warning about that.

Yeah I know it's just hardware cloth, but compared to big box stores it's a great value. I use it to keep out rabbits and other annoying critters from under my shed and deck.
