Great option to more expensive versions for an RV Trailer.

These work great for an RV Trailer to hold two bikes. Especially for the cost. There is a trade-off though. The more expensive versions with one bar hold multiple bikes can hold more weight and take up less bumper space. That is one downside to these. If you have a roof ladder attached to your rear bumper, you will not be able to keep your spare tire mounted to your rear bumper. However, the single bar bike holders place all the weight at one spot on your bumper and this creates a lot of stress on the bumper (not true for hitch racks but I am presuming you do not have that option). Whereas these spread the weight out and keep the bikes very secure and not hanging/dangling. The converse to that is the face with these, you have to do all the attaching with cords and straps. The single bar versions are much quicker and easier to attach bikes to. I choose this option, despite having to figure out a plan B for my spare tire, b/c with these I can use them to hold stuff when I am not hauling bikes. The other version is useless for anything but bikes.

Used for tandem bike!

Tried this on our travel trailer rear four-inch bumper for a tandem bike. Bike fits!

Great product!

The bike mount arrived quickly and arrived before we had expected it. Very easy to mount. The only problem was with my trailer, not the mount itself. Due to the location of my bumper, it had to be mounted underneath the bumper instead of on top, but the brackets provided allowed that to be done easily.

Most robust option i've seen for the price!

For the price, i don't think you'll find anything more robust or safe for hauling your bikes on your RV! As an engineer i feel very confident in the construction of the racks and the way they'll distribute the weight across the relatively thin steel bumpers found on RV's. It fits 2 bikes quite nicely. Only reason for the 4 star vs. 5 is that the vertical post for attaching your bikes feels unfinished. It's simply a post with a small hole near the top. Not only does it not give you much to hook to, it's going to rub (at least on my bikes) against the bike frame. It would be nice if there was some sort of cushioned bracket to allow for more strapping options and not damaging to the bikes. I don't expect any issues after making a few hauls, but i'll report back if i do.

Easy to install, drove over 3000 miles with it

I drove over 3000 miles with this on my travel trailer. It worked great with two bikes. The metal on it is really thin. I will probably replace it for the upcoming 2022 year.

Great product

great for the money and having to keep your bikes or small kids moped on the back of RV. Just a tip I installed this bolt facing down to ground to make this a little more challenging for someone wanting to take this off my camper. would definitely recommend.

Keeps our bikes safe.

Mounted easily once I decided to move the spare tire to the front of the camper. Using bungees to keep the wheels snug in the rack and snug to the upright post. Also using a slip on piece of floatie on the handlebar of the outermost bike to keep it from bumping into the camper siding. Needed to turn the handlebars 90 degrees on the bike closest to the camper. Works well though.

Not for smaller or Popup Campers

Got a few blocks away and it collapsed and dragged on the ground, luckily my bikes was strapped down so was just leaning and didn’t fall. Super cheap crap hardware that bends when it doesn’t even feel like it’s tightened down yet so can’t even say I overtightened. If you have a smaller camper or Popup with a fairly skinny bumper, this definitely will not work. May work better on a wide bumper but you can see where the hardware just bent as it was tightened down on a skinny bumper. They really should specify that this won’t work for these types of bumpers.

Sturdy, good hardware.

Easy to install once you cut some wood spacers for RV bumper to accomodate the u bolt size. Seems very strong, holds two mountain bikes just fine. For the price a good buy.

Great concept. Won't work with bumper mounted spare tire.

Great concept. Very sturdy product. Easy to install. Unfortunately I have spare tire mounted on bumper and this rack doesn't extend far enough to allow for two bikes to be carried. If spare tire wasn't mounted where it is, I would not have returned this rack.

Nice simple product!

Once again, quick delivery with Amazon. Installation is a breeze and its far nicer than the hanging bike rack we had on our last 5th wheel. Only wish they would include not 1 but 2 stand up tie off bars with the kit. All in all, reasonably priced and great value.

Les vélos sont solidement fixés à l’arrière de votre roulotte.

C’est vraiment exceptionnel comme support à vélos à installer derrière une roulette. C’est très solide. Il faut savoir que nous avons dû enlever la roue de secours afin de pouvoir y fixer le support et nos vélos. De plus, il faut aussi prévoir acheter des bandes pour attacher les vélos. Nous avons aussi utiliser les spaghettis de piscine afin de nous assurer que les vélos ne se frotteraient pas entre eux et ni contre la bande attache. Il faut faire quelques ajustements, mais pour le prix, c’est solide et très stable.
